10169/70 both have rear full back adverts for AM Philip Truckteck.
10170 seen here on the Red Line 1 on Union Street.
Ever since I sold my Leica M6 in 2016 I've missed a Leica rangefinder camera. Unfortunately the prices on M6 have gone ballistic and I couldn't afford one. A few months ago I bought a Canon 7. It's similar to a Leica but much cheaper.
However that didn't cut it. It's a great camera, but it doesn't feel like a Leica.
A few weeks ago in January 2026 this M2 popped up on my local Craigslist. I was immediately smitten. I'm a sucker for black cameras, particularly black Leicas.
This is of course not an original "Black Paint". It was born chrome and recently repainted. Sadly it won't get the lovely brassing as it's painted on top of the chrome finish.
The lens is a Canon 35/2 LTM that I bought for the Canon 7 and fitted with an adapter. That lens is great and absolutely worthy of sitting on a Leica. It's also known as "The Japanese Summicron".

I’ve had this Mattel Collectors Ariel for a month or so sitting at the bottom of my spare parts box cuz I just didn’t know what to do. Ariel is one of my fav princesses but it’s so difficult making a doll of her cuz *every* decent shot of her face is a ¾ angle and every front on shot of her is scary lmao.
So here’s my interpretation of her. I’m not very happy with her but then I think her sculpt looks like an unsculpted potato….
10165 has retained its front Red Line branding despite repaint.
That does not mean its confined to the Red Line as seen here on Union Street on the 27.
Artic v artic.
10169 on the Red Line 1 compares with this Total Waste Management Scania artic lorry on King Street. Care must be taken to not catch the trailer of the lorry it turns the corner as 10155 found out to its cost, the driver here is paying particular attention.
Another group of repaints done when I was young. This, apart from the blue one, is a mythical German bus fleet. The livery was not based on pre-nationalisation PMT colours, but rather to match some Wiking 72s Büssing Trambus Senators which were also part of the fleet.
The top three are by Hammer, then a Matchbox no.12 Setra coach, an Ikarus 66 (strange in a West German fleet!) and a Corgi Juniors Mercedes-Benz minibus which seems to have Wiking wheels. That explains a wheel-less but otherwise mint boxed 72s I unearthed a while ago.
The numbering is odd, maybe based on what was left on the Letraset sheet. The blue bus is a crudely shortened Hammer bendy bus, in a colour scheme seen on a real vehicle in 1973.
I have now found the rest of the fleet! Six are by Wiking, photo here: www.flickr.com/photos/adrianz-toyz/52536800747 and there is also an EKO Pegaso coach (with Wiking wheels): www.flickr.com/photos/adrianz-toyz/10765244513 and a Norev Saviem coach: www.flickr.com/photos/adrianz-toyz/53415710412
Nouveau repaint sur une Monster High Abbey Bominable.
C'est plutôt une reprise de mon tout premier repaint qui datait de quelques années mais que j'aimais bien et que j'ai retravaillé ;)

Here’s my repainted Disney Shang doll. I’ve had him for over 10 years now with his hair all chopped off and stuff but only recently did I decide to repaint him and trim his hair.
I wanted to integrate him better into my collection but who knows lol.
My first ever repaint! In case it weren't already obvious, I love 'Tangled'. It rather saddens me that most of the commercial merchandise seems to feature Rapunzel only with her long blonde hair, since I like her as she appears at the end of the film, so obviously I had to get hold of one of the 'Tangled Ever After' Disney Store dolls.
It was quite fun working on a doll this big, since most of the dolls I sculpt are half the size! In addition to repainting her features in acrylic paint, I also resculpted the head itself slightly; Rapunzel as she appears in the film has a rather more heart-shaped face, I think. I reset the hair, too. I'm quite pleased with her, although I may still make some tweaks.
Sandite unit 960010 (55024) undergoing a repaint inside Aylesbury Depot on 18th July 2004.
It was supposed to lose its maroon livery for Network Rail yellow but Aylesbury Depot had other ideas and it emerged in a fresh coat of maroon, this time without the yellow Railtrack lettering it had carried before.
I'm done carving a faceplate and next is MSC so I thought I'd paint these and they can get a coat at the same time.
I can't seem to get Bratz to look like anything other than Bratz. Using it for practice but I have so many Monster High dolls, I don't know why I bother. (And when will I learn that a dark line under the eye is better left out??)
Frankie, I went at her with pink blush then decided to match her skin so she's a mix. I thought she was finished... but she doesn't look like she's done at all.
Madeline Hatter got to keep her original eyebrows. I like her mouth, looks nicely sculpted now that the garish original lip color is gone.
My Little sister and Mom helped inspire this repaint, they saw a photograph of a girl in Africa that had ferns woven in her hair and told me about it.
