I've been working on her since november (2010). Don't like the shape of her face, but repainted she's a little better.
Now to do something about her hair, and then one of my worst nightmares: sewing... :P
(Bad news is that my camera is dying. It seems I'll have to leave the jurassic era and buy myself a cell phone.. DX)
10165 has retained its front Red Line branding despite repaint.
That does not mean its confined to the Red Line as seen here on Union Street on the 27.
Here’s my repainted Disney Shang doll. I’ve had him for over 10 years now with his hair all chopped off and stuff but only recently did I decide to repaint him and trim his hair.
I wanted to integrate him better into my collection but who knows lol.
My first ever repaint! In case it weren't already obvious, I love 'Tangled'. It rather saddens me that most of the commercial merchandise seems to feature Rapunzel only with her long blonde hair, since I like her as she appears at the end of the film, so obviously I had to get hold of one of the 'Tangled Ever After' Disney Store dolls.
It was quite fun working on a doll this big, since most of the dolls I sculpt are half the size! In addition to repainting her features in acrylic paint, I also resculpted the head itself slightly; Rapunzel as she appears in the film has a rather more heart-shaped face, I think. I reset the hair, too. I'm quite pleased with her, although I may still make some tweaks.
