The drawer on the right doesn’t fit. It hasn’t fit, but it worked. Now that it has been painted, it’s really not going in!
And do you know what my genius idea was ... WD40! Yes my Flickr friends! WD40! You experience crafters and painters already know what happens! Yes the paint wiped right off! >smacks forehead<
Does anyone know if there were indeed different versions of the SG dresser?
Outside of that the paint job looks good! Working on the mirror and a bracket now.

I have been repainting some of my tlc tressies this weekend. This one was not a good buy, she was in really bad condition for what I paid for her: her face was darkened and yellowed and had a blue ink stain in her forehead, hair was in bad condition with some torn locks, and she wore an awful Core (spanish Lisa Jean) dress. I made her a peeling, a partial reroot and a partial repaint. Now she is wearing an original outfit by Novo-Gama (I know, lavender and red... oops).
he Barbie shoes need to be customized! They came in one color usually pink and look so boring! I tried to reveled the models of the shoes by repainting them.

So here’s Lammily. She puts me in the mind of a snobby hipster that’s probably done everything you have, only sooner and more expensively.
I carved her lips to get the weird flat expression off her face. I boiled her hair to get it to lay down flatter (instead of the just rooted mad scientist look she had going on). I also carved down her weird toe-thumbs. They were two times thicker than the rest of her fingers and just made her hands look really, really awkward.
She’ll arrive with her default clothing in her original box (which has a bit of a tear, it was awkward to open). She fits YOSD size pants perfectly and Ken shirts are a good size for her, too, as well as Ken shoes.

My Devon got a new look today since her old face up got all messy in my move to China. I went all futuristic and weird with this one and had lots of fun. Not sure how versatile she will be though as no wig suits her better than being bald! :D
She wears a Syb shirt, Numina shoulder strap and Inamorata belt.
Like Hans, I had to buy Kristoff because of his fabulous outfit. However, as a base for repainting, he's a bit disappointing - the head sculpt is very straight-faced (even more so than Hans, who has a slight quirk of the mouth), and his hair gets in the way, too. I gave him some freckles, more natural lips and made him look in the opposite direction, hopefully a bit less shiftily. He's got a new body too.
I finished my first repaint. I made every rookie mistake possible but I learned a lot. This began as a Count Dracula doll from Jason Wu's Brides of Dracula Collection. I got the Count from a friend who bought him and decided that he didn't like him as much as he thought he would. I had planned to use a much cheaper Ken doll for my first repaint but I changed my mind when I got a good look at the Count.
He's far from perfect but I am very proud that I got through the experience without tearing all of my hair out!! Oh those tiny little brushes!!!
Anyway... let the critiques begin :/
When I saw Tammyleeg's repaint natalia, I just felt in love with her! So i tried to give a new life to my Natalia, now she looks much more pretty, even though I need to improve my painting skill for sure;P It's a lovely experiment journy.^_^.

The Y36 started life with some Wright thingies which had a one-piece door, and I can't remember id they were 'big' buses like the Renown or little like a Cadet or something. It was also numbered 36 and painted orange at the front, which I believe NCT had something to say about. Soon enough the route number changed, and then so did the colour.
I do remember that on the first day of Dunn Line 36 operation, no fares were charged at all!
Here is the Renown in the short-lived but fairly pleasing orange and plum livery which I had to look at a picture to get it right (and still couldn't work out the size of the bus!)
The Wrights were replaced by Pointer Darts, with a Plaxton President and possibly even a Palatine Oly appearing now and again. Then in 2011 the Citaros came and Yourbus became a bit dull.
10168 on the Red Line 2 at Castle Street. Like 10166 it has oversize Aberdeen names on its nearside.
