Here are the repaints I'm working on pre-sealing. For their owners.
This is a repaint of the Cobra Blackstar figure, which was originally yellow and neon green.
Aside from not liking the yellow, I wanted something to match my repaints of the 1994 Vipers, which I matched to the BAAT Star Brigade figure about a year and a half ago and renamed Space Vipers.
Much like the Vipers, I discovered that many of the nice details on this mold were obscured by monochromatic color choices, such as on the legs. I assume that was due to budgetary restrictions in the waning years of ARAH.
Thankfully this only took me one try, whereas the Space Vipers took about five.

I got a blank Nyx from Yian in trade and just found time to paint her. It was so much fun to paint a doll without considerations of how well she will sell or other limitations. Just took a look from my avant garde make up inspiration folder and went for it!
Nyx wears Syb Cross hose, Swallow wings and Rock It shoes together with Inamorata Seraph corset, skirt and wig by PattaArt. Modsdoll heads are same size as Inamorata but more narrow and can wear softer hard cap wigs like the ones made by Patta.
This elderly O gauge loco came in for a strip and repaint. During the process I discovered a date marked on of January 1967!
The body is mostly white metal castings which must contain a high percentage of lead as they are very soft. Old technology shows in the myriad of air holes and pit marks. I considered filling and removing all the imperfections but decided it was economically unviable. Best let this old lady show her age gracefully.
At some point it has been re-motored with an ABC motor gearbox and it's a beautiful runner. It has cast wheels and Fox transfers. Just waiting for Severn Mill Plates to arrive.
I nearly finished a repaint I was working on since longer, my Marilyn OOAK doll. I didn´t want her to look like a sexbomb, but to have a vulnerable and sweet expression, like she was captured on many photos made by Milton Green.
Still don´t know which outfit to make for her. any suggestions?
10168 on the Red Line 2 at Castle Street. Like 10166 it has oversize Aberdeen names on its nearside.
Got this Nadja repaint from Fashiondollhouse on ebay. The clothes are clear lan and the shoes are from Chain of Command Natalia. Earrings are Dominique Adrenalin Rush. This repaint is inspired by a convention ooak from a few years ago.
Sandite unit 960010 (55024) undergoing a repaint inside Aylesbury Depot on 18th July 2004.
It was supposed to lose its maroon livery for Network Rail yellow but Aylesbury Depot had other ideas and it emerged in a fresh coat of maroon, this time without the yellow Railtrack lettering it had carried before.
