Rendered image created using MojoWorld and Photoshop

A little bit of settling had caused the rendering at the front of the house to crack where the concrete and brickwork join. To use Pete's word, it looked fugly.

The problem was particularly bad on the staircase to the roof terrace so we have had Andy Cole out to repair it.

First off, the not so old render had to be removed and then new render applied. When that was starting to go off they threw loads of marble chippings at it and pressed them in to give the wall its sparkly effect. In Spanish It is called Gote Gran.

Half a days work and a few Euros later, the wall looks like new again.

Walls like this talk in a very real way...neglect helps with the story...as is often the case with people.

Render da Guarda Nacional Republicana no palácio de Belém, residência oficial do Presidente da República. Lisboa, Portugal

This scene was built and rendered using modo 401, a 3D modeling and animation software package.

It's my first modo 401 render...actually my first modo render period. The primary purpose of this image was to get familiar with the lighting and render settings as well as the GI and DOF features.
