Trying to render welding sparks...and not really succeeding.

A casemate, sometimes erroneously rendered casement, is a fortified gun emplacement or armored structure from which guns are fired. Originally, the term referred to a vaulted chamber in a fortress. Parts of the casemates pre-date the 1704 capture of the Rock from the Spanish. Gibraltar was ceded to Great Britain 'in perpetuity' under the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713. These casemates, however, date from 1817.
The buildings are now used to provide restaurants and bars for tourists and locals alike.
Set in glorious Rutland countryside, this formerly run-down village boozer has been transformed into a gastro pub with knobs on, offering food that ranges from pub classics such as fish and chips with tomato sauce and minted peas, to fancier restaurant cooking, such as lemon sole with potted shrimps and caper mash.
