A panel now rendered semi-opaque by corrosion. It did not originate in Croxton, but was brought from Boroughbridge in Yorkshire by a former incumbent in an act of ecclesiastical droit-de-seigneur. The glass, originally in the East window at Croxton after its arrival here was discovered in the tower of the church before the Second World War. In 1946 it was restored by H Hincks of Nottingham under the supervision of Neville Truman. The main glass of the Crucifixion is of the mid 13thC; the bordering castles and covered cups of the 14thC are not necessarily from the same source. In an artlcle Neville Truman listed the pieces that were restoration (all marked with the date "1946"):
Plain ruby ground left (as we face the panel) of the sun.
Two green ends of the cross arms.
Head, torso and loin cloth of Our Lord.
Plain red ground behind St Jo (to match one original piece).
Right arm and chest of St john and left side of his cloak.
Most of the plain ruby ground behind Our Lord.
Cloak of Our Lady's right side, and all of the skirt.
I had to do a lot of work in Photoshop to get an image as good as this!

An advantage of the LDD overload is that BlueRender works way faster without the platform. So here's two renders.
