Crepuscular rays are rays of sunlight that appear to radiate from a single point in the sky, specifically, where the sun is.

I went on a whale watching trip last Saturday and everything was the same color: blue/grey sky, blue/grey ocean, blue/grey whale. We only saw one, but it was a magnificent Blue Whale -- the largest creature ever on earth (including the dinosaurs).

Between the dullness of the day and the tossing of the boat (I actually was a little queasy on the return trip!), I got no good whale photos. As we were approaching the harbor, however, the sun broke through a crack in the clouds and created this wonderful light display.

Three times retired steam locomotive driver Ray Churchill couldn’t resist stepping back on the footplate of ‘The Polar Express’ for the children’s Christmas train rides from Birmingham Moor Street station on 29th November 2018. Ray, who began his long career in 1957, is seen in classic pose with traditional red scarf on former Great Western Railway steam loco No. 4965 ‘Rood Ashton Hall’.

We lost Ray peacefully today after a short illness. I found him near my garden around 2012 and we nursed him back to strength, and he lived in this treehouse for a while before moving into the house .We named him after Ray Winston as he looked a tough guy ! After posting his face in a local shop ,his owners came round and identified him as their cat but decided to leave him with us because of their changed circumstances. RIP Ray

En principio buscar un lugar "relativamete seguro" donde se pueda estar con nuestro equipo fotografico y donde no se nos moje; en segundo lugar observar el movimiento de la tormenta para así ver donde se encuentran las nubes con actividad electrica; y como tercer consejo podria llamarse así.. estar seguro de lo que se hace no vaya a ser que la tormenta nos caze a nosotros

The last rays of sun shine on 6315 as it passes a camp between Norcross and Perkins. A couple take a break from their chores to wave at the passing train. Three SD40-2's lead woodchips and lumber south to Brownville Jct and eventually east to Canada.
