Another shot from two days ago...would have loved to be out in the open for this, but sometimes the light is just too epic to pass up. This was on the north side of Benson and the combination of stormy clouds, a partial rainbow and anti-crepuscular rays was just heavenly. Got a short time-lapse of it before the rain ruined things, so we'll see how it turns out!
I was trying to get a photo of Ray lying on the garden table in the sun. He wouldn't look at me so I put the camera underneath and shot upwards and this is the result. Such a strange photo - he looks like the Puss in Boots cartoon cat because there is no light on his eyes and the markings over his eyes, taken from underneath, make him look like he is terribly sad

We are off to see The Play That Goes Wrong tomorrow night. It won the Olivier award for the best comedy a couple of years ago so we are hoping for a good night.

Ray at Night is a monthly event in my neighborhood of North Park ~
Ray Street ( pictured here ) is full of Art Galleries and this event is to encourage patrons and artists to mingle...talk...look and maybe buy some of the artworks exposed inside the galleries and outside in the booths/tents . Paintings , sculptures , jewelry ...anything goes . Also , usually they have local bands/ musicians playing there too ;-)
I also went to Bromo for the second time but the weather was so bad, it was foggy, hazy and everything looks so dull. No dramatic light, or smoke from the volcano but it was awesome and fun trip nevertheless. This was taken when the sun decided to peek a secs and my friend Jordan quickly tell about it otherwise i will miss this cause the moment was only last few second. Thanks Jordan :)
I was walking down my road with my camera when a car went by really fast. A lot of dirt was flung up in the air from the car and the light hit it PERFECTLY through the branches of this tree. It's almost as if everything came together came together just for my photo....

The rays of the setting sun through the gathered clouds. The ending of a 40 degree day was welcomed with a cool change. But fires still burned over parts of the state in the Little Desert area.

Crepuscular rays are rays of sunlight that appear to radiate from a single point in the sky, specifically, where the sun is.
I went on a whale watching trip last Saturday and everything was the same color: blue/grey sky, blue/grey ocean, blue/grey whale. We only saw one, but it was a magnificent Blue Whale -- the largest creature ever on earth (including the dinosaurs).
Between the dullness of the day and the tossing of the boat (I actually was a little queasy on the return trip!), I got no good whale photos. As we were approaching the harbor, however, the sun broke through a crack in the clouds and created this wonderful light display.

Three times retired steam locomotive driver Ray Churchill couldn’t resist stepping back on the footplate of ‘The Polar Express’ for the children’s Christmas train rides from Birmingham Moor Street station on 29th November 2018. Ray, who began his long career in 1957, is seen in classic pose with traditional red scarf on former Great Western Railway steam loco No. 4965 ‘Rood Ashton Hall’.

I took this shot down a little lane just outside Exeter Devon, the day was wet and grey, but even so i decided to go venturing to see what was about, i always keep a small camera in my car because you never know when your need it and on this day proved me right, The sun suddenly came out and as i turned this corner i was confronted with beautiful picture, i hope you like it as much as i do.
