Crazy amount of rays from the twilight glow of yesterday's intense sunset! A timelapse would have really worked here, but we were all so busy capturing the drama that I forgot about making one till the end.

The undulate ray is a species of ray fish found in the Mediterranean and East Atlantic from southern Ireland and England to the Gulf of Guinea. It is found in areas with mud or sand, and may occur as deep as 200 m, though it prefers shallower depths. It is considered endangered due to over fishing.

Going threw the photos I've taken this year theses still make me feel that there is hope. I lost my job a month or two ago. I tried selling cars, but I just couldn't do it morally, I just felt it was wrong what they do. But I know theres a job out there for me I just got to find it

"Muahaha! At last, my invention is finally finished!" Dr Sivana cackled maniacally as he laid his tools down. The pint-sized madman held a ray gun high above his head, laughing proudly at his achievement! "Now there's only one way to know for sure...." Sivana placed a single dollar bill on his work space. He tried to contain his giggling as the gun charged. He flipped a switch and the device began humming and buzzing, getting louder and louder as the doctor checked his instrument of science for flaws.

Whirring louder and louder until, "bzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZ-ding!" The silver device chimed, indicating it's preparedness. "YES!" The doctor cried! He quickly aimed it at the dollar bill on the table, then paused, "...I hope this was a good investment..."

He pulled the trigger, and with an incredibly loud “ZAAAP!” a cloud of smoke exploded from the table, and dozens of dollar bills flew into the air!

"Aha! It worked! I knew it would!" Dr Sivana began to dance and trot, kissing his new ray gun! “I'm gonna be a very rich man! Soon no one will be able to deny funds for my research! Once I duplicate enough money, I can begin construction on my Anti-Magic Radio Beam! Only then can I stop my greatest enemy, Captain Marvel!” Sivana cackled even more!

Suddenly, the wall behind him crumbled, imploding into the lab, and Captain Marvel burst in with The Speed of Mercury! The Big Red Cheese socked Sivana on the jaw, and sent him soaring through the air, crashing into the pile of money!

"Holey Moley!" Captain Marvel shouted, seeing the dollar bills covering the table, “The Mayor isn't gonna be happy with you....” he grimaced, “Say...” The captain scratched his head “Where'd ya get all this money anyway?”

Too shocked to even answer that question, Dr Sivana stumbled over his words, “Captain Marvel?!...Why I... It... well... I didn't make this device!” Sivana lied nervously through his teeth, still cockney as ever.

“Oh! Ya mean that silly looking thing?” Marvel smiled, pointing at the Cloning-Ray, “I thought you're too old to play with toys!” The Captain took the gun from Sivana and crushed it like a soda can with the Strength of Hercules!

“Come now! I... I nearly found it! Yes that's it! I found it in the trash!” Dr. Sivana pleaded.

"Heh, that's funny! If that's where it came from..." Captain Marvel grinned ear to ear, lifting the mad scientist off the ground, "Let's put it back where you found it!”

A little shorter than most of my stories, but the goal here was to create a panel by panel 'comic' (for lack of a better word) that didn't need any dialogue for you to understand it! I was really trying to channel the classic Fawcett Pulication vibe with this. A simple premise, well know characters, and kooky news-strip physical humor.

I feel like I accomplished that, but let me know what you guys think :)

Patreon's got an exclusive Dr Sivana photo, plus info about the lighting and minifigure set up (like how I got all these different things to fly for example), plus as always a better look at the build and set-up :)
