Sun rays over the Mediterranean Sea.

A MUST VIEWED LARGE!!

Another of my sunsets along the river Thames at Erith, it was such a fabulous and beautiful evening . Just a short time from home.

It is all a bit of a hit and miss affair when you are taking shots like this because you are not to sure how the rays are going to come out!

An Essex field caught as the end of day sun drops from the sky and sweeps its rays low across the fields.

After several days of grey sky’s and heavy rain the skies cleared and blue appeared and so I grabbed my camera and took to the road to seek out some shots of the local countryside. I took out my camera and found I had a low battery. I looked in my bag to discover that I had transferred my spares to my heavier bag last trip. Lucky my iphone is always in my pocket.

The coast to me is like a beating heart, always there when I need it , pulsing with the tides and the changing weather. Always different , yet always lifts the spirits and fills me with energy. I appreciate it even more in these crazy days. Gone away from me is by Ray LeMontagne.

It feels like I haven't been out with my camera for weeks. Well, I haven't! I'm so looking forward to kinder weather to come. This is another image from an early morning at Marazion in January.

Blue Ridge Parkway, Va

As the sun came over the mountains, one of the tallest dunes received the first of the early morning rays. It was really nice to watch the light creep across the dunes as the sun gradually cleared the mountain ridge.

Nouveau thème pour mon petit groupe PSP**** Moi ce sera des rayons de soleil :-)

New theme for my little group PSP**** Sunrays for example (for me)

This image is actually a third of a wide stitched pano of the wonderful open area in Hillock Wood where the sparse conifers and ferns (and Holly) make this a special area to stumble on. It wasn't until I was working on the image in post and fighting the harsh lighting did I notice the sun rays creeping in on the left hand side, now these may be lens rays but I'm gonna take them :-)

Just a profile picture I did for my friend Ray.

I'm wishing my followers a healty and photogenic 2021.

We were watching this Barred Owlet from a walking trail as it moved from branch to ground to branch trying to catch a squirrel. It was difficult to get a photo in the darkness of the early morning forest and the light just starting to filter through but then the owlet flew up onto a low branch directly in a ray of sunlight.

Thank you for viewing.
