An awesomely "plated" dish from a restaurant in Shanghai. Consists of overlapping pork and cucumber strips hung like laundry, that you take off and dunk in the hot sauce provided.

This is a Millers Falls no 182 bit brace, originally made for corner work. As almost always, this item misses it's extendable handle. This brace is in good condition with only slight loss of nickel plating. We can all agree that the small fidgety pawls that sets the direction of the ratchet mechanism isn't the easiest to use. But having used more than twenty different bit braces, this one has one of the best chucks I've seen. The Leland universal jaws will swallow absolutely everything you feed it with and it will grip it tight. Top handle features very nicely spinning ball bearings. A quality bit brace.

My favorite part of cooking... is plating.
So, we've used the new range already, but only to reheat momma's leftovers or cook a frozen pizza, but tonight I actually had time to cook. So, this was the maiden voyage for the new kitchen. We used the convection roast cycle with integrated temp probe to cook the teriyaki-ginger pork tenderloin. Brown rice and organic green beans for sides.

I bought some webbing and sprayed this piece of watercolor paper and then just thought it was too much. So instead of throwing it away or putting it away I grabbed one of my Italy pictures and started throwing on color. I kind of like it! So I will continue playing with it to create textures. If you want to play with me you can purchase the webbing spray at Micheals. If you apply to wet paper the webbing swells and you get bigger lines. This was done on dry paper.
