I think HZ uses a nice colour scheme and heir trucks, but recreating the striping on the cab was tricky. I'm not quite satisfied with the result, but have yet to figure out a way to make it less jagged.
A fabulous bridal corset with a plunging sweetheart neckline and a deep hemline to create gorgeous sweeping curves. Slimming and sexy, it is traditionally made with authentic spiral steel boning and finished in rich, pearlescent ivory duchess satin. It works equally well as a stunning top to your wedding gown or as sexy lingerie on your special day. Also available in white satin.

My 2015 Elsa Limited Edition 17'' Doll, fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by the included doll stand.
The Limited Edition Elsa Doll, released in stores in North America on March 3, 2015. My doll is #2942 of 5000. She is in jeweled purple felt (made from faux wool). This is the outfit she wore as an 18 year old when saying good bye to her parents before their overseas journey. She is wearing ice blue jeweled satin gloves, which help repress her ice powers. Her hands are clasped together. Her pose and look are that of a sternly repressed nature. She is standing in front a purple window of the Castle, which is closed, as she is closed to the outside world.
She is wearing black flats with floral decoration. Her jacket is pinned to her dress, which I left alone, as it helps to keep the jacket from opening up. There was a large amount of tissue paper stuffing under her skirt. I had to remove her from the doll stand before I could remove the tissue.
She has shiny pearlescent skin, and her skin tone is between that of Coronation Elsa and Snow Queen Elsa. In bright lighting, her skin is iridescent with a a purple sheen. Her hair is slicked down in the front and is in a bun in the back. There is gold tinsel in her hair, even in her side burns.

Deboxing the Designer SQ Elsa and Hans Doll Set. Elsa has been deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by a Kaiser stand. Her cape is in a normal partially opened position, and her right leg is showing through the slit in the skirt. Her hair braid is draped over her left shoulder.
I have finally deboxed the Designer Fairytale Snow Queen Elsa and Hans Doll Set (2015). My set is #4597 of 6000. It was the only set that I didn't get at the Disney Store raffle, so I had to order her online. I show the set boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. After deboxing them, I place them back on their display stand, in a different pose.
I was a little surprised that Elsa has the body construction of the 2012 DS Classic Princess dolls, so has external hinged knee joints and ankle joints. It makes her legs a bit unsightly when they are exposed by opening the slit of the skirt. She has shiny pearlescent skin that is similar to the Harrods Elsa doll, but doesn't have the heavy blush. Her Snow Queen outfit also has embellishments that are more similar to that of the Harrods Elsa rather than that of the LE 2500 Snow Queen Elsa. But rather than the jeweled snowflakes of the 17'' LE Elsa she has single clear rhinestones throughout her braid, and a few on her head. The snowflake and icicle design in her cape are printed rather than embroidered (as in the 17'' LE Elsas) or glittered (as in the Classic Elsa). They are flat and smooth, and I don't think are as effective in depicting ice.
The major embellishments of Designer Hans over Classic Hans are the addition of white gloves, and a sword. However, It's disappointing that there is no scabbard for the sword - it is loosely sewn to his pants legs, which looks rather cheap.
I will show the dolls in side by side comparisons to other Elsa and Hans dolls in future postings.

Deboxing my LE Wedding Cinderella. The cardboard backing has been removed from the inner box, and is free standing. The doll is attached to the backing by wires and plastic ties. The background image is the exterior stairs of the Castle at night.
On my second attempt to get the the Limited Edition Wedding Cinderella 17'' Doll from eBay, I finally got her! I got her with the help of a fellow collector. She is #450 of 500, and was originally sold by the Japan Disney Store. There is a Japanese sticker on the bottom of the box. She was shipped double boxed, and very well packed. She arrived in perfect condition.
She is very beautiful, and has a serene expression, rather than the grumpy pout of the LE Ballgown Cinderella doll. Her lips have a slight smile, which is part of why she has a more pleasant expression than the other doll, who shares the same face mold. She is glancing in the opposite direction of the Ballgown Cinderella, and her skin has a matte surface, rather than the shiny pearly surface of the Ballgown doll. Her pale yellow wedding gown has many differently sized and colored rhinestones enhancing the printed floral pattern. There are also several small jeweled plastic butterflies in the skirt, hidden amongst the flowers. The decorations continue throughout the back of the dress. There are also faux pearl buttons on her sleeves and on the back of her bodice. Her skirt is very full with a long train, and is in three differently colored layers. Under her skirts is a 3/4 length single layer tulle petticoat. Attached to her hair is an oversized pale yellow sheer chiffon veil. She has golden earrings and a jeweled golden tiara. Her wedding ring is a floral design with five golden beads; it is pinned to her hand. She has the old style legs, with fixed ankles. She is wearing simple ivory heels, with no decorations.
I will be posting a full set of detailed photos of this doll. She will be shown boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed, both by herself and with other Disney Store dolls.

The tree is all paper pieced from leaves stamped on orange, brown and taupe card. I stamped the hearts on red card and added them to the tree with pop dots. The card is for my hubby and the hearts represent the 15 years we’ve been married. I scattered some of the left over leaves at the base of the tree and added the two hedgehogs. One is stamped on acetate and layered on pp so I could have the hedgehogs facing each other. I’m afraid the photo isn’t great as the orange base card and the brown and taupe card I used for the leaves are pearlescent so it’s hard to photograph. The colours look a bit different and the raindrop background is more obvious in real life.

Pilgrims in a pine temple
Wandering into the silent and bear-black forest, the silvered sliver of a hooking moon set, we filled every silent space with amber-toothed, snarling phantoms and held them at bay with nips of cognac and the click of the shutter. Silhouettes under pearlescent starlight, the big trees are primeval minarets, spires of the oldest and grandest cathedral on Earth. We moved reverently, slowly - pilgrims in a pine temple come in the dark to play witness.
Some amongst these trees were old when men lashed Andromeda to the briny rocks and awaited the leviathan. We've filled the interceding centuries with other lambs led to slaughter, and emerging from darkness, discovered her still radiant, shackled to a constellation that is dying in a corner of the sky. Then as now, we are infants amongst giants, in wonder at skies the big trees have seen reel a million times, shades passing in the night. These are the days of miracle and wonder indeed.
We headed into the Sierras looking for a winter adventure, hoping for giant, snow-bound sentinels holding winter in great, fragrant handfuls. Instead we found beautiful, unseasonable warmth and clear night skies amongst the carpeted and ancient groves. We came for the snow and found so much more in its absence.</p
This is our 28th custom for PinkAngelie on Flickr! I honestly forgot what PinkAngelie called her because it's been several months since we've completed her, but I've always called her Daenerys Targaryen.
Funny enough, I wasn't really inspired by the version of Daenerys played by Emilia Clark but rather a portrait of a girl that looked uncannily like her (without trying to be). I really wanted to create someone who was strong, solemn and wise beyond her years. Her entire faceup is done in earthy browns and pinks. Extra attention has been paid to her blushing to make her skin look soft and delicate. Her intense green gaze stares out at you, framed by subtle, slightly smokey eye shadow. Her lips are a subdued brown-red. Her entire look is finished off with surprisingly girly baby pink pearlescent eyelids.
Anyway, I hope you guys like her!
Model: Daenerys Targaryen (kind of)
Custom by Kiki & Chrysanthemum. Eyechips by Kiki.
Her cheeks are a little pale in this photo. She has been brushed with a pearlescent powder as well. She's so much fun to pose :)
Full repaint and reroot by me.
Sylvain Dubuisson, the designer and architect, designed the portable pavilion that houses the WAVE exhibition. This pavilion, the Wavespace, is a 500 m2 metal structure whose inflatable roof of pearlescent canvas rises to a height of more than 8m. This flexible, translucent material reflects the spirit of the project in its lightness and fluidity. Its raised curves match an undulating graphic design on the façade. The whole affirms its singularity and confirms its name: Wavespace, an extraordinary and surprising object. Designed to be portable, it stands out perfectly in both urban and green environments. The structure is slated to travel around the world after its initial installation in Paris.

Taken with my 100mm macro, i finally managed to get rid of the dust that was showing up in every shot on the lens!
This was of a bubble blown up in a bubble pot with a straw as it was too hard to focus on a moving one. Amazing how there is all this colour and movement in such a thin film of soapy water...
Testing interference and pearlescent watercolor paints on black (india ink stained cold press).
It was a challenge and strange because it was completely opposite to how I paint with watercolors.

My LE Wedding Cinderella Doll has been fully deboxed. She is lying down on the floor, to show off the construction and extent of her gown. First the skirt is folded behind her, and her veil is laid out fully extended behind her. Then her skirt is fully extended. Then the outermost layer is lifted over her head, showing the second layer underneath. Then the second layer is lifted, showing the bottom ivory satin layer. Finally all three layers are lifted over her head, showing the tulle petticoat underneath.

Although first produced around 1862, and considered quite obsolete since the 1950s, Celluloid still find a few uses today. Pearlescent Celluloid photo album covers like this were very common in the late 1960s and early 1970s here in Brazil. This one brings golden designs, the names of the bride and groom and is dated 1971.
It measures 23 x 17,5 cm.
These tiny cupcake cases (which I think can also be used for chocolate) perfectly house these Tiny Polar Bears, each holding a pearlescent heart button.
Barbie® Mermaid Enchantress™ doll, the second doll to debut in the Mythical Muse™ fantasy series, features a sea-inspired look with enchanted details. Fish-scale sequins in soft coral and sea-foam hues cover Barbie® doll’s mermaid tail, creating a shimmering effect from every angle. Accessories inspired by ocean treasures include a coral accented headpiece, peplum and earrings. Barbie® doll’s flowing, pearlescent hair is kissed with pastel pink and blue highlights and features a delicate braided detail.
A pair of small ammonites surrounded by fragments of iridescent nacre covered shells also from ammonites. Probably Prorasenia.
About to turn into the Western Harbour terminus at Newhaven, Enviro 400 Hybrid, number 201 (SN11 EES) looks great with the Platinum Point redevelopment behind. As can be seen here the Enviro design is curvy with rounded windows, doors and body edges, making a nice return to the
traditional bus look of olden days I feel.
Lothian's new Hybrids are painted not in the usual red and white 'classic' livery but in Radiance Red over Winter Gold i.e. the standard weinrot und weis colours are changed for a pearlescent paint version.
202 to 215 have been in service since September.(apart from the late arrival of 212).
Custom strip and rebuild of an old Raleigh Caprice for my girlfriend. The colour is a beautiful pearlescent aqua with a pearlescent white accents - sprayed by my brother. It's beautiful and one of a kind.
As Britney Spears once said – “Oops!...I Did It Again”, LOL... Well, here is another completed custom painted guitar project I’ve finished. This time I decided to go with a Flame theme in purple hues, actually those colors are a Pearlescent Lavender to Plum burst, with some vivid peril Violet Candy mixed in. I’ve also hand painted those Silver Flames with some added Holographic glitter I’d blended into the metallic silver paint, so it really sparkles in the sunlight. Additionally, I’ve added many special touches to this wonderful Stratocaster. I do hope you like it as much as I do! Custom painted guitar by Artist Dan Seitzinger, DanMar Creations / DMS Studios.

Designer SQ Elsa and Hans boxed, with slipcover off.

Greenlandair Boeing 727-100C | OY-DRM | "Sululik" | 1970s colors WHAT-IF?
Greenlandair was established on 7 November 1960 as a joint venture between SAS (Scandanavian Airlines System) and the Danish mining company Kryolitselskabet Øresund which had operations in Greenland. Two years later, the Greenland National Council and the Royal Greenland Trading Company came aboard as equal shareholders. The airline's initial purpose was to resupply four American early warning radar stations that stretched across the island- for this, a DC-4 was chartered from Iceland and 2 Sikorsky S-55 helicopters were chartered from Canada. Not long after the resupply flights began that passenger services were started using a ski-equipped De Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter and a Consolidated PBY Catalina outfitted to carry 20 passengers.
In the early 1960s, there were only two airports in all of Greenland outside of the USAF base at Thule in the extreme north- Kangerlussuaq (back then called Sondrestromfjord AB) and Narsarsuaq (back then called Bluie West One AB). With a string of coastal communities that lacked airports, the Catalina was ideal as it could alight in the adjacent fjords, but an accident in 1962 involving the Catalina had the airline shift to the use of helicopters and in 1965 three Sikorsky S-61s fitted out for passenger services were delivered from the manufacturer. Six heliports were built in the coastal communities. With eight S-61s by the early 1970s, Greenlandair soon had the most extensive helicopter route network of any airline in the world.
The need for long range flights to Denmark and North America still existed, and the chartered DC-4 was replaced in 1963 by another DC-4. It flew as far east as Copenhagen and NAS Keflavik in Iceland and as far west as the NORAD radar stations in extreme eastern Canada.
More capable DC-6Bs were purchased in 1971 to replace the single DC-4. OY-DRC was named "Amalik" and OY-DRM was named "Sululik". But suppose in our alternate historical timeline Greenlandair has a need for more cargo capacity and decides on the Boeing 727-100C instead? With its ability to carry both main deck cargo and passengers in mixed configuration, it would have been a versatile aircraft for Greenlandair with greater payload capacity, speed, and range the the DC-6Bs that were operated from 1971 to 1980.
(This still blows my mind that there were regular passenger services until 1980 on the DC-6B with Greenlandair!)
This illustration uses the distinctive red/white/black livery used on the DC-6Bs on the 727-100. The aircraft in this print is "Sululik" and uses the same registration as the real world Sululik, OY-DRM. The name is on the forward nose just like it was on the DC-6Bs and you'll also note that I have this 727-100 equipped with the long HF antenna stinger on tail as that would have been a must with the long and remote routes it might have flown.
I was looking up some numbers last night comparing the DC-6B and the 727-100C. Mind you, these are *approximate*:
DC-6B
Takeoff run at MTOW: 6,150'
Landing run with full payload: 3,100'
Payload: 19,200 lbs
727-100C
Takeoff run at MTOW: 8,202'
Landing run with full payload: 4,692'
Payload: 41,000 lbs
Kangerlussuaq's runway is 9,219 feet. Narsarsuaq's runway is 6,004'. I'm sure that there would have to some trade-offs on payload vs. fuel vs. takeoff runs to operate out of both airports, more so at Narsarsuaq than at Kangerlussuaq. Thule AB has the longest runway in Greenland at 9,997 feet, a legacy of its days as a SAC dispersal base.
This print is 6 x 18 inches in size with a white border and is printed professionally on heavyweight paper in a high gloss finish that uses a subtle pearlescent photographic process to render the colors much more vibrantly than the previous print process I employed.
Contact me for details. Selling price is $10. For the same price, I will also have it available in 8x10 inch size as I have gotten several inquiries about that option as I've already been offering that particular size for the larger 16x20 inch prints.

Circles of 24K plated delicas surround the unakite focal in this unique pendant. Unakite is a stone that is made up of green episodite and red jasper - a mix of olive green and terra cotta that is lovely and unusual. The olive or moss green theme is carried through to the round, glass beads that surround the peyote stitch bezel - these lovely beads are a subtle olive color that is slighly pearlescent. The base of the pendant is wool felt and a stiff fabric interfacing, and the backing is soft, tan suede leather with a beaded bail. (Please see detail photo of the back). Only nymo thread is used throughout both the woven and embroidered areas. I have hung the pendant on a black silky rattail cord necklace with a silver plated lobster claw hook closure. The cord is 16 inches, but if you want to put the pendant on a different necklace it can be removed from the cord.
Dimensions:
Pendant is 1.5 (38.1 mm) in diameter, the rattail cord necklace is 16 inches (40.6 cm) long.
