My LE Wedding Cinderella Doll has been fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by the included display stand. With her floor length multi-layered skirt she should be able to free stand, but I didn't haven't tried to stand her that way. She is photographed from all angles.
On my second attempt to get the Limited Edition Wedding Cinderella 17'' Doll from eBay, I finally got her! I got her with the help of a fellow collector. She is #450 of 500, and was originally sold by the Japan Disney Store. There is a Japanese sticker on the bottom of the box. She was shipped double boxed, and very well packed. She arrived in perfect condition.
She is very beautiful, and has a serene expression, rather than the grumpy pout of the LE Ballgown Cinderella doll. Her lips have a slight smile, which is part of why she has a more pleasant expression than the other doll, who shares the same face mold. She is glancing in the opposite direction of the Ballgown Cinderella, and her skin has a matte surface, rather than the shiny pearly surface of the Ballgown doll. Her pale yellow wedding gown has many differently sized and colored rhinestones enhancing the printed floral pattern. There are also several small jeweled plastic butterflies in the skirt, hidden amongst the flowers. The decorations continue throughout the back of the dress. There are also faux pearl buttons on her sleeves and on the back of her bodice. Her skirt is very full with a long train, and is in three differently colored layers. Under her skirts is a 3/4 length single layer tulle petticoat. Attached to her hair is an oversized pale yellow sheer chiffon veil. She has golden earrings and a jeweled golden tiara. Her wedding ring is a floral design with five golden beads; it is pinned to her hand. She has the old style legs, with fixed ankles. She is wearing simple ivory heels, with no decorations.

The Turbo Titan III looked like nothing that anyone had ever seen. The futuristic cab incorporated a massive, panoramic windshield, while two gaping nacelles on each side of the cab helped feed air into the turbine engine. Adding to the futuristic look were gullwing-style windows, pop-out headlamps and turn signals, and a plush interior, sans a steering “wheel.” As strange as it looks, instead of a conventional wheel, the driver steered the Titan III with one of two large dials mounted in front of him.
The Turbo Titan’s chassis was rather conventional, except for its powertrain. GM employed their new-at-the-time GT-309 turbine engine, and connected it to a six-speed Allison automatic transmission. While GM touted the engine produced 280 horsepower, its true selling point was the unbelievable low-end, freight-moving torque. When the engine’s output shaft approached stall speed, (the point at which a turbine engine produces the most torque), it could produce as much as 875 lb-ft of torque.
Although engineers actually drove the truck from coast to coast several times, the truck itself was little more than a promotional vehicle. Ultimately, it was scrapped when GM no longer felt that turbine power was feasible. At one time, they promised to offer a gas turbine engine in a few commercial vehicles between 1971 and 1973, but the turbine’s propensity to gulp fuel and rising oil prices, forced GM to scrap the idea altogether.
The Turbo Titan III utilized a fiberglass and steel combination for cab construction, and was painted in a Pearlescent White. The styling theme extended to cover the chassis, which was completely concealed by molded-fiberglass panels. There were doors mounted on both sides of the truck, just ahead of the rear wheels that allowed access to dual batteries and the turbine engine when the cab was electrically tilted. The headlight pods mounted on each side of the truck were retractable, and were mounted within functional air intakes.
Inside, space-age seats with full headrests were mounted on each side of a center console, and a production-line sourced automatic shifter handle was mounted in the console. Long trips can be boring without some music, so a four-speaker FM radio and a two-way telephone was installed.
Deboxing the 2015 LE Elsa Doll. First the front cardboard lid is removed, revealing a clear plastic window underneath. Then the plastic window and rear cardboard lid are removed, leaving the doll attached to a free standing cardboard backing. The Certificate of Authenticity is removed from below the backing.

This is the outfit she wore as an 18 year old when saying good bye to her parents before their overseas journey. She is wearing ice blue jeweled satin gloves, which help repress her ice powers. Her hands are clasped together. Her pose and look are that of a sternly repressed nature. She is standing in front a purple window of the Castle, which is closed, as she is closed to the outside world.
She is wearing black flats with floral decoration. Her jacket is pinned to her dress, which I left alone, as it helps to keep the jacket from opening up. There was a large amount of tissue paper stuffing under her skirt. I had to remove her from the doll stand before I could remove the tissue.
She has shiny pearlescent skin, and her skin tone is between that of Coronation Elsa and Snow Queen Elsa. Her hair is slicked down in the front and is in a bun in the back. There is gold tinsel in her hair, even in her side burns.

Pilgrims in a pine temple
Wandering into the silent and bear-black forest, the silvered sliver of a hooking moon set, we filled every silent space with amber-toothed, snarling phantoms and held them at bay with nips of cognac and the click of the shutter. Silhouettes under pearlescent starlight, the big trees are primeval minarets, spires of the oldest and grandest cathedral on Earth. We moved reverently, slowly - pilgrims in a pine temple come in the dark to play witness.
Some amongst these trees were old when men lashed Andromeda to the briny rocks and awaited the leviathan. We've filled the interceding centuries with other lambs led to slaughter, and emerging from darkness, discovered her still radiant, shackled to a constellation that is dying in a corner of the sky. Then as now, we are infants amongst giants, in wonder at skies the big trees have seen reel a million times, shades passing in the night. These are the days of miracle and wonder indeed.
We headed into the Sierras looking for a winter adventure, hoping for giant, snow-bound sentinels holding winter in great, fragrant handfuls. Instead we found beautiful, unseasonable warmth and clear night skies amongst the carpeted and ancient groves. We came for the snow and found so much more in its absence.</p

PERSONAL FUN FACT: Of all the Sweetheart Barbies I own, my brunette is currently the most "exotic." She joined my doll hoard in 2016, and like most of the others, was from a bin. She was part of the "Teresa lot" which contained over 60 dolls from mostly the 90s. She really perplexed me when I found her...it took me the longest to identify her out of all the dolls. See, her face was an exact match to the brunette Sweetheart Barbie's. But, she has pink stud earrings instead of clear ones. It doesn't look like her earrings were swapped either. But that being said, I've seen some earring swaps on dolls that looked factory done! When it comes to this sort of tricky circumstance, I always make my final ruling based on the facial screening. Since her hair style, facial screening, and body mold were a perfect match to Sweetheart Barbie (she even has the same painted panties), I thought that this was more conclusive than her earrings. Plus, I did a lot of research, and I couldn't find any evidence of this same doll being repackaged as another doll. She's kind of funny looking if you ask me. There's something really bizarre about the way this doll's facial screening works with her tan skin and dark, kanekalon hair. She's not necessarily pretty or ugly, she's just super unique and jarring to look at!

I used the distress ink to sponge around the edge of the nestie to create a frame.

Deboxing the Designer SQ Elsa and Hans Doll Set. Prince Hans has been fully deboxed. He is posed free standing.
I have finally deboxed the Designer Fairytale Snow Queen Elsa and Hans Doll Set (2015). My set is #4597 of 6000. It was the only set that I didn't get at the Disney Store raffle, so I had to order her online. I show the set boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. After deboxing them, I place them back on their display stand, in a different pose.
I was a little surprised that Elsa has the body construction of the 2012 DS Classic Princess dolls, so has external hinged knee joints and ankle joints. It makes her legs a bit unsightly when they are exposed by opening the slit of the skirt. She has shiny pearlescent skin that is similar to the Harrods Elsa doll, but doesn't have the heavy blush. Her Snow Queen outfit also has embellishments that are more similar to that of the Harrods Elsa rather than that of the LE 2500 Snow Queen Elsa. But rather than the jeweled snowflakes of the 17'' LE Elsa she has single clear rhinestones throughout her braid, and a few on her head. The snowflake and icicle design in her cape are printed rather than embroidered (as in the 17'' LE Elsas) or glittered (as in the Classic Elsa). They are flat and smooth, and I don't think are as effective in depicting ice.
The major embellishments of Designer Hans over Classic Hans are the addition of white gloves, and a sword. However, It's disappointing that there is no scabbard for the sword - it is loosely sewn to his pants legs, which looks rather cheap.
I will show the dolls in side by side comparisons to other Elsa and Hans dolls in future postings.

I believe this Lady Truetone transistor radio was made in Japan by the Hayakawa Electric Company (Sharp). It has a pink case with a pearlescent reverse painted dial face. It is a small radio, only 3.25 inches tall by 2.25 inches wide. The Lady Truetone is featured in a number of websites devoted to classic early transistor radios. This example is in good cosmetic condition except for a dent in its grill.

There are also faux pearl buttons on her sleeves and on the back of her bodice. Her skirt is very full with a long train, and is in three differently colored layers. Under her skirts is a 3/4 length single layer tulle petticoat. Attached to her hair is an oversized pale yellow sheer chiffon veil. She has golden earrings and a jeweled golden tiara. Her wedding ring is a floral design with five golden beads; it is pinned to her hand. She has the old style legs, with fixed ankles. She is wearing simple ivory heels, with no decorations.

Then the plastic window and rear cardboard lid are removed, leaving the doll attached to a free standing cardboard backing. The Certificate of Authenticity is removed from below the backing.

This creepy haute couture lizard for Halloween is Phelsuma, a OOAK Inamorata art doll with Nnaji head sculpt and Andro bust type in Charcoal resin.
Her highly editorial make up has a pearlescent green scale pattern running from her brow to the back of her head, red and gold lips, rust coloured eyes and wild eyeshadow covering her brow with multi coloured leaf gold. The look is finished with green sequins as bindi and below her eyes.
The translucent netting dress is a hand stitched with thick scaly clusters of red and green sequins and beads to accentuate feminine form. The netting boots with Classic Stiletto heels have a line of red sequins running down the back seam.

Lot 1000 from Christie's sale 1778, 40 Years of Star Trek: The Collection. The model is in remarkably good condition given it's age and numerous makeovers through the six movies. Upon closer inspection there is a pearlescent sheen to the paint (giving mainly reddish hues). The red-shift towards the picture's edges is due to the APS film sitting in the camera for three years before developing.
My Star Trek fandom started with the third movie in '84, so this was my first Enterprise. Being able to stand just inches away from it felt absolutely surreal. It was surely touched by many hands in it's shipment to the east coast, but I was brave enough to lightly tap it's fiberglass surface to determine that, yes, this piece of film history was sitting before me, and it was an experience that not even V'ger could overshadow.

Deboxing the Designer SQ Elsa and Hans Doll Set, with slipcover and acrylic cover off, so the dolls are in the clear. They are secured to the cardboard backing, the plastic supports and the built in doll stands.
I have finally deboxed the Designer Fairytale Snow Queen Elsa and Hans Doll Set (2015). My set is #4597 of 6000. It was the only set that I didn't get at the Disney Store raffle, so I had to order her online. I show the set boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. After deboxing them, I place them back on their display stand, in a different pose.
I was a little surprised that Elsa has the body construction of the 2012 DS Classic Princess dolls, so has external hinged knee joints and ankle joints. It makes her legs a bit unsightly when they are exposed by opening the slit of the skirt. She has shiny pearlescent skin that is similar to the Harrods Elsa doll, but doesn't have the heavy blush. Her Snow Queen outfit also has embellishments that are more similar to that of the Harrods Elsa rather than that of the LE 2500 Snow Queen Elsa. But rather than the jeweled snowflakes of the 17'' LE Elsa she has single clear rhinestones throughout her braid, and a few on her head. The snowflake and icicle design in her cape are printed rather than embroidered (as in the 17'' LE Elsas) or glittered (as in the Classic Elsa). They are flat and smooth, and I don't think are as effective in depicting ice.
The major embellishments of Designer Hans over Classic Hans are the addition of white gloves, and a sword. However, It's disappointing that there is no scabbard for the sword - it is loosely sewn to his pants legs, which looks rather cheap.

Piaggio MP3 500ie LT Sport. This model, the only one available in the UK, only comes in black. I don't ride black bikes so I changed some of the panels for pearlescent white ones! This model comes with a tiny back rest & no luggage box - where would The Ladies put their purses - so I had a box fitted!! Finally, I like to see & be seen so I always have driving lamps fitted, wired independently of the standard lights so if either fails on a fast bend at night I'm not plunged into darkness, then into something nasty off the road!!!! It's very different to anything I've had before. It felt light & twitchy at first & still is ridden solo, but two up damps it down a little. It grabs attention everywhere. Car drivers pause their overtakes alongside, pedestrians point and its quick too for only 500ccs and CVT drive. Worst point so far ? Tiny fuel tank, barely enough for 110 miles before its on Reserve, when I regularly do runs of 250 miles to see my father.

I think HZ uses a nice colour scheme and heir trucks, but recreating the striping on the cab was tricky. I'm not quite satisfied with the result, but have yet to figure out a way to make it less jagged.

The major embellishments of Designer Hans over Classic Hans are the addition of white gloves, and a sword. However, It's disappointing that there is no scabbard for the sword - it is loosely sewn to his pants legs, which looks rather cheap.

Deboxing my LE Wedding Cinderella. The cardboard backing has been removed from the inner box, and is free standing. The doll is attached to the backing by wires and plastic ties. The background image is the exterior stairs of the Castle at night.
On my second attempt to get the the Limited Edition Wedding Cinderella 17'' Doll from eBay, I finally got her! I got her with the help of a fellow collector. She is #450 of 500, and was originally sold by the Japan Disney Store. There is a Japanese sticker on the bottom of the box. She was shipped double boxed, and very well packed. She arrived in perfect condition.
She is very beautiful, and has a serene expression, rather than the grumpy pout of the LE Ballgown Cinderella doll. Her lips have a slight smile, which is part of why she has a more pleasant expression than the other doll, who shares the same face mold. She is glancing in the opposite direction of the Ballgown Cinderella, and her skin has a matte surface, rather than the shiny pearly surface of the Ballgown doll. Her pale yellow wedding gown has many differently sized and colored rhinestones enhancing the printed floral pattern. There are also several small jeweled plastic butterflies in the skirt, hidden amongst the flowers. The decorations continue throughout the back of the dress. There are also faux pearl buttons on her sleeves and on the back of her bodice. Her skirt is very full with a long train, and is in three differently colored layers. Under her skirts is a 3/4 length single layer tulle petticoat. Attached to her hair is an oversized pale yellow sheer chiffon veil. She has golden earrings and a jeweled golden tiara. Her wedding ring is a floral design with five golden beads; it is pinned to her hand. She has the old style legs, with fixed ankles. She is wearing simple ivory heels, with no decorations.

Deboxing the Designer SQ Elsa and Hans Doll Set. Prince Hans has been fully deboxed. He is posed free standing.
I have finally deboxed the Designer Fairytale Snow Queen Elsa and Hans Doll Set (2015). My set is #4597 of 6000. It was the only set that I didn't get at the Disney Store raffle, so I had to order her online. I show the set boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. After deboxing them, I place them back on their display stand, in a different pose.
I was a little surprised that Elsa has the body construction of the 2012 DS Classic Princess dolls, so has external hinged knee joints and ankle joints. This is the outfit she wore as an 18 year old when saying good bye to her parents before their overseas journey. She is wearing ice blue jeweled satin gloves, which help repress her ice powers. Her hands are clasped together. Her pose and look are that of a sternly repressed nature. She is standing in front a purple window of the Castle, which is closed, as she is closed to the outside world.
She is wearing black flats with floral decoration. Her jacket is pinned to her dress, which I left alone, as it helps to keep the jacket from opening up. There was a large amount of tissue paper stuffing under her skirt. I had to remove her from the doll stand before I could remove the tissue.
She has shiny pearlescent skin, and her skin tone is between that of Coronation Elsa and Snow Queen Elsa. In bright lighting, her skin is iridescent with a a purple sheen. Her hair is slicked down in the front and is in a bun in the back. There is gold tinsel in her hair, even in her side burns.

The tree is all paper pieced from leaves stamped on orange, brown and taupe card. I stamped the hearts on red card and added them to the tree with pop dots. The card is for my hubby and the hearts represent the 15 years we’ve been married. I scattered some of the left over leaves at the base of the tree and added the two hedgehogs. One is stamped on acetate and layered on pp so I could have the hedgehogs facing each other. I’m afraid the photo isn’t great as the orange base card and the brown and taupe card I used for the leaves are pearlescent so it’s hard to photograph. The colours look a bit different and the raindrop background is more obvious in real life.
