my first quilt. the scrap basket was overflowing, so i thought i'd make something useful with them. used a wool batting which is so warm and nice!
Quilt I made for my husband. The theme of the quilt is Snoopy and Peanuts. The block is Monkey in the Middle designed by Cindy Sharp of Tops to Treasures and quilted by her.

I love 'organized disorder'. Every block was quilted individually before the whole thing was sewn up. Every block's quilting matches the blocks with the same fabric, so each fabric pattern is unique from the others in the way it was quilted, if that makes sense.

This was made from 9 sets of 9 patches that had been quartered and rearranged and then sewn together. It took 5 hours to make the quilt top and is an easy quilt to tackle in a day.
My wonderful partner Gina "happygolizzie" made not one but TWO beautiful pouches! I feel so Lucky!! Love this one, the hand quilting is gorgeous...
