Pupils decided to use decoupage technique to decorate our gorilla. They chose a mix of clours, with each child sticking their own individual piece onto Patch.
Hag says: I'm not sure but Patch may actually have been slightly out of focus in real life. Either that or I'd accidentally switched the camera to the wrong setting.

So thrilled that this one came out. That patch of rainbow would come and go and come and go as the mists shifted.
Ava and Evan, in the pumpkin patch the second time, after the sun went behind the clouds. I didn't get too many more pictures of them out there, but I was happy that they let me get this one. Of course, Evan was distracted by the apple cannons that were happening in the distance behind me. (The pumpkin that Ava's holding here was her pick from the front area.)
The Cotton Patch Geese on The Button Farm is a natural weed eater and therefore was used by Southern cotton farmers, during but especially after emancipation of slavery, to weed between the rows of cotton. The geese are now almost extinct but were in abundance in the South up until the 1950s. J.P. Patches is a clown portrayed by Seattle entertainer Chris Wede. The J.P. Patches Show was one of the longer-running locally-produced children's television programs in the United States, having appeared on Seattle TV station KIRO channel 7 from 1958 to 1981.
On August 17, 2008 a bronze statue of J.P. and Gertrude was unveiled at the corner of Fremont Avenue North and North 34th Street in the Fremont section of Seattle.[10] The unveiling date was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the J.P. Patches show.[11] The statue is called "Late for the Interurban" by sculptor Kevin Pettelle

The driveway had holes and was crumbling. Menards had sale on vinyl cement patch. A match made in heaven.
Patched the reporting marks and doing a did a little weathering on the covered hopper, need some more practice.
Last Sunday (05-27-2012) I hung out with friends; we ate delicious steak and cheese sammiches, sat by a campfire, roasted marshmallows, and got eaten alive by mosquitoes! This is Patches, she hung out with us. :)
