A silly short story. :p

One made it, one didn't.

At last a better to day to try out the 500mm F4 lens before I sign on the dotted line and give my bank balance heart failure. Just down at the loch at work were Black-headed Gulls getting all fruity, a Coot on a mission then falling through the ice and a Blue Tit prospecting for a nest

This is what you get when you don't tighten your tripod.

This one has a little more to worry about than staying on her board...At least it was only her bottom that slipped out!

I just realized I do not think I have shared this particular photo of Abiqua Falls yet, from July 2013. I am not looking forward to next week, it will be in the 100's all week. Time to go back to Oregon, me thinks.

Mating Elephant seals... it looks as though she wants nothing to do with him... or he has the wrong one... or she's really surprised that she is the chosen gal... Who knows... I'm not too sure since I am not familiar with their behavior.
