Sometimes mistakes make interesting images. Last M8 image for a while.

Ack, who hit me? Ugh, I feel bent...

May the jackals that surround you be only part of the wealth in the display of your success, because your life deserves more than just the wars that already afflict us, so that there are so many evil men among us.

As I exited the woods and walked up to the lake I tried to take a picture of these ducks, but forgot to adjust the shutter speed. The picture is completely overexposed, but thought it had artistic value to it.

Tried to get creative for this month's selfie.

This fish is trying to escape its destiny. I wouldn't put any money on it, though :)

PS: the life of a jack mackerel is very hazardous in these parts. Sei whales, dolphins, tuna and seabirds all love them, and we do too. If you come here, ask for chicharros fritos in a restaurant. You can eat everything, head included. In France, the closest dish is perhaps the friture du port.

just turned the faucet on

first try with lens ball, nearly started a fire!

Uno scoiattolo in piena attività .... saltatoria .... sarò forse noioso ma non resisto alla tentazione di immortalare questi splendidi animaletti, anche se ... d'importazione ...

I peeked in the Bluebird house thinking the eggs might have hatched. Mrs. was in there and was none to happy to see me, but she didn't fly out.

Didn't realize it when I snapped the photo, but the little hoverfly had a tiny drop of ...whatever ... on his bum.

The moment a Juvenile Common Tern drops its fish that had just been delivered.

Not gonna lie - I did NOT see this tern lose its catch or, frankly, this maneuver to retake it. I think. Or maybe it's just a flip for a better position. I'm pretty sure it got to keep to keep it. Hurray for 10fps and servo AF.

Last week I visited a friend who lives close to Safety Beach and we went for a walk down the bay trail beside Anthony's Nose and the McCrae Lighthouse.

This is where, a week or so ago, one of the multi-million dollar homes slid down the cliffside into a couple of others. A big headache for all involved, a council worker inspecting the property at the time of the collapse was injured but lucky to be alive. The recriminations and clean up are to come. The main road beside the beach is now blocked and those who are nearby but not affected are enjoying the quietness and lack of traffic. But they too must be worried that their houses may also have some risk of slips too!
