Nothing is perfect there is always a bus that breaks down along the route somewhere. Here we see today's unfortunate victim not sure where Lothian 760 was but is now being towed back to Central Depot.
Finally I had a clear background but it was too bright so the hummy was underexposed...added a few texture layers to distract you LOL
One little glass drop is broken!! This little wind chime does still "sing" in the wind when our back door is open ~ my wife likes it even like this, so it still hangs and blows back and forward during the summer months!

1935 Buick Special 46C Convertible Coupe
Buick's biggest changes came in the form of a new naming system for what were essentially carried over 1934 models. From smallest to largest, Buick now had the following series names: Special, Super, Century and Limited. New for Buick in 1935 was an entry-level Special convertible coupe with grandiose styling cues, featuring a standard tan leather interior and a rumble seat to bring along two more! Weighing 3,140 pounds and with a price of $925, the 46C convertible coupe was a rare bird, with production totaling only 933 units for domestic sale and an additional 67 for export. Today, they are very scarce but remain a classic in every way! Only 15 are known to exist, per the registry.
This 117” wheelbase convertible coupe is equipped with its original 233ci Inline 8 with Stromberg down-draft carburetor that produces 93 horsepower; mated to the standard three-speed floor-shift sliding gear transmission and standard 4.33:1 rear end, this car is capable of 85 miles per hour! Options and features on this 46C include dual side-mount spares with hard covers, Buick fog lights, Buick luggage rack with Taylor Made auto trunk and four-piece luggage, front and rear bumper guards, functional glove box clock, dual visors, Buick heater, Delco radio with speaker, dual side-view mirrors, and added turn signals! The car rides on pinstriped steel artillery wheels with Buick “B” polished hubcaps wrapped in Firestone 6.50-16 Deluxe Champion gum-dipped wide whitewall tires! This car features the original factory color, Runnymeade Green.

Along with thousands of other drivers and pedestrians I’ve been passing this 'bright and precarious sight' for a month or more and keep meaning to take a photo before they repair it.... but that doesn’t seem to be happening. The reason will undoubtedly be something to do with the coronavirus! Call me cynical but it does appear to me that most issues not being dealt with are said to be the fault of the coronavirus! Continuing my cynicism it could need a government issued guideline before any work can progress?
I’ve now had a thought that it could be an exhibition of a work of art. A Tracy Emin maybe?
Another open day in 1983 was at Stratford Depot on the 9th July 1983.Pictured is 25 177 that was deliberately derailed so the breakdown crane could give a demonstration of how they would go about rerailing the locomotive.25 177 lasted another 3 years before being cut up at Swindon Works.

This means a) a double exposure and b) a blank frame on the other roll. Believe it or not, this is only the 3rd time I've ever done this. Really. Only 3 times...
