As I exited the woods and walked up to the lake I tried to take a picture of these ducks, but forgot to adjust the shutter speed. The picture is completely overexposed, but thought it had artistic value to it.
I love invitations to groups. love them! but I don't like those big or sparkly icons. so, as much as I love being invited to groups, and love you for inviting me, I will delete them.

Two boys capsize their yacht! For all I know that might be a future America's Cup sailor out there :)
Not as bad as it looks, instructors just out of picture were telling them to do it for practise at getting their boat upright again. This is in Auckland at Howick beach, with Waiheke Island, think red wines, in the background about 12 km away.

I peeked in the Bluebird house thinking the eggs might have hatched. Mrs. was in there and was none to happy to see me, but she didn't fly out.
Didn't realize it when I snapped the photo, but the little hoverfly had a tiny drop of ...whatever ... on his bum.
Not gonna lie - I did NOT see this tern lose its catch or, frankly, this maneuver to retake it. I think. Or maybe it's just a flip for a better position. I'm pretty sure it got to keep to keep it. Hurray for 10fps and servo AF.
