The cloudy skies make this Maine scene all the more moody. Captured this with the 9 Stop ND and aperture set at f/22 to get the 30 second exposure. There was a slight sea breeze so the longer exposure smoothed out the reflection.
This perspective was also taken very low to the pool of rain water ponding there in the rocks giving a neat expansive view and reflection.
The water lying on the beach as the tide went out provided a perfect reflection for the moody grey clouds

I just love autumn - colors, mist, fog, smell. For me the best of autumn is mornings like this one on the photo when its so calm you could hear leaves fall from the trees. Simply best of the nature.

Korth's Meadow - Iowa
I have taken many shots of this meadow, but each year provides a unique view . . . depending on weather, time of day and season.
On this spring day, the light was interesting depending on the cloud movement. It's one of my favorite local areas to hike and explore!

From my birthday trip a few years ago to the Oregon coast.. we had some crazy weather, but with a January birthday, I have come to accept that!
OLD PHOTO.
A shot looking towards Ennerdale.. it was actually a badly exposed shot on my behalf. I've tried to save it with a bit of Photoshop... it's ended up moody :-)
While today dawn fiery and bright, yesterday's dawning was wreathed in fog, leading to a moody start. One had to shine a light to see through the morning mists and confusion. A bit like me before the morning coffee! For Definitely Dreaming theme 15 of Mood.
