Ultra wide angle view on the Notre-Dame from the Tournelle Bridge. The sky was filled with high altitude clouds creating a strange and mysterious mood
Despite I come quite frequent to this location nearby my home, I especially like to visit when the lake is frozen and we have such magical wintry conditions like this morning in early January, 2020. This shot consists of a fourteen vertical exposures. Nevertheless, the stitched panoramic result was quite hard to crop, as I wanted to show the nice structure of the big poplar tree on the left, as well as the fallen tree on the right. That's why I came around with the very wide format at the end.

A quick roadside stop whilst travelling the E10 to capture this beautiful scene. It was raining but that did not detract from the beauty.

Here in the Isle of Man the weather can be rather changeable and it can change from bright sunlight to overcast and moody quite quickly. Here the low clouds are coming in from the sea bringing rain for later.

The Fraser River only has this degree of stillness in winter months when the countless tributaries along its 1,375 km route are frozen.

Moody, supermoon 3/21. The last supermoon of 2019. I was trying to add a little interest with the moving clouds and oak branches. They sort of rolled in out of nowhere and I really liked the way the reflected light made them sort of glow.
Here's a moody coastal image from the last time I visited Cape Kiwanda. Hope everyone was a great start to their week!
Another take from our lovely stroll along the beach in Teignmouth. I did pack my tripod and filters but could not be arsed to take any long exposures so this one is straight from the hip ;-)
A view from our balcony in Selva Val Gardena. The Dolomites truly is a special place with amazing views in every direction.
As the ankle eases up so do the zoom bursts in this series...here's an explosion of muted tones done with the camera and not with photoshop.
Thanks to all for your well wishes...they are working!
