Wastwater is a lake located in Wasdale, a valley in the western part of the Lake District National Park, England. The lake is almost 3 miles (4.8 km) long and more than one-third mile (540 m) wide. It is the deepest lake in England at 258 feet (79 m), and is owned by the National Trust. It is one of the finest examples of a glacially 'over-deepened' valley. The surface of the lake is about 200 feet above sea level, while its bottom is over 50 feet below sea level.
It was a lovely warm evening and perfect for a walk on the beach, a cool change came in but hardly any rain.
Many thanks for your visits, kind comments and faves, very much appreciated.
Haystack Rock and Cannon Beach shot from Crescent Beach in Oregon. Framed by the bird rock haystacks.
Lone poppy in a field whilst out walking the dog. Not great light but I quite liked the moody feel to it. Hopefully, will revisit when the sun is out!
I am posting this because I like how the water ripple caught along the lily, with the light sparkling, however it was a very long ways away, wind moving it and therefore grainy, so my apologies.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead filled with sunshine!
Thank you all again so much for your support and visit!

During the last week of high winds and rain I gave myself a challenge to get out and shoot something where conditions aren't ideal!
I ended up at Bodiam Castle in East Sussex, wind swept, poor light and wet, all i can say is my aim was moody!!!
Bodiam Castle is a 14th-century moated castle near Robertsbridge in East Sussex, England. It was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of Edward III, with the permission of Richard II, ostensibly to defend the area against French invasion during the Hundred Years' War.
