A marsh along the highway to Seward. No moose, but lots of frogs.
If/when I return to Alaska I've got to spend more time on the Kenai Peninusula. Amazing beauty in every direction.

Brooding skies over Iceland’s most famous national park. We’ve visited twice, and both times the beauty and wonders that we saw were just incredible! “Þingvellir is now a national park in the municipality of Bláskógabyggð in southwestern Iceland, about 40 km (25 miles) northeast of Iceland's capital, Reykjavík. Þingvellir is a site of historical, cultural, and geological significance, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Iceland. The park lies in a rift valley that marks the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. To its south lies Þingvallavatn, the largest natural lake in Iceland.”
The white buildings are the old Parliament buildings, and you can also see a Lutheran church nearby.
A view looking up the Lake Louise outlet channel at the lake and the moody skies above on a chilly October day. With beauty like this a person barely notices the cold.
Another shot from this wonderful morning in comments.
Safe travels for those on the move for the Holidays!
I am posting this because I like how the water ripple caught along the lily, with the light sparkling, however it was a very long ways away, wind moving it and therefore grainy, so my apologies.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead filled with sunshine!
Thank you all again so much for your support and visit!
After it has snowed for two days, this morning was magically beautiful. Beautiful light and still a bit of fog.
Lone poppy in a field whilst out walking the dog. Not great light but I quite liked the moody feel to it. Hopefully, will revisit when the sun is out!

I love the Oregon coastline! This was taken from Ecola State Park near Cannon Beach on my favourite kind of beach day - not at all hot :)
