Another one of those soft moody light days....two trees side by side; one of them picked bare of its berries by robins....thought I'd better hurry with the camera...still unseasonably mild here, not complaining!

Thanks for your visit; Happy Thanksgiving U.S.A.!....Pat...xo

We're hosting on Thursday....only family, will view lots of American football which I love, especially Green Bay Packers:)

After raining almost of the day, some lights appeared in a cloudy evening, reflected to the Sea, feel like a magical scene, near E10 Highway, Svolvær, Norway.

GPS might not the exact point of this photo.

Have a nice day everyone! ❤️

I love how fog alters the world by softening the sharp edges and creating a new world of mystery.

Wastwater is a lake located in Wasdale, a valley in the western part of the Lake District National Park, England. The lake is almost 3 miles (4.8 km) long and more than one-third mile (540 m) wide. It is the deepest lake in England at 258 feet (79 m), and is owned by the National Trust. It is one of the finest examples of a glacially 'over-deepened' valley. The surface of the lake is about 200 feet above sea level, while its bottom is over 50 feet below sea level.

Haystack Rock and Cannon Beach shot from Crescent Beach in Oregon. Framed by the bird rock haystacks.

Had a little fun overprocessing this one. Was hoping for a colorful sunrise, but it was very underwhelming today.

It was a lovely warm evening and perfect for a walk on the beach, a cool change came in but hardly any rain.

Many thanks for your visits, kind comments and faves, very much appreciated.

Wester Ross, scotland

Taken at Derwentwater, Keswick, Cumbria on 18/03/2019.

A view looking up the Lake Louise outlet channel at the lake and the moody skies above on a chilly October day. With beauty like this a person barely notices the cold.

Another shot from this wonderful morning in comments.

Safe travels for those on the move for the Holidays!

Night scene in Historical Fort Langley, BC Canada

The ambiance lighting on this Ft. Langley pub , makes for a nostalgic and romantic looking setting.

The lighting scheme includes natural gas tiki torches as a warm and inviting finishing touch.

Lone poppy in a field whilst out walking the dog. Not great light but I quite liked the moody feel to it. Hopefully, will revisit when the sun is out!

I am posting this because I like how the water ripple caught along the lily, with the light sparkling, however it was a very long ways away, wind moving it and therefore grainy, so my apologies.

Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead filled with sunshine!

Thank you all again so much for your support and visit!

After it has snowed for two days, this morning was magically beautiful. Beautiful light and still a bit of fog.

I took this about a year ago. Rediscovered it today and decided it was worth posting.

Taken a few weeks ago on a cloudy morning after a storm.

Hot, summer night,

night full of thoughts.

I love the Oregon coastline! This was taken from Ecola State Park near Cannon Beach on my favourite kind of beach day - not at all hot :)

Not much more than a shed, but still proud to be part of the family!

During the last week of high winds and rain I gave myself a challenge to get out and shoot something where conditions aren't ideal!

I ended up at Bodiam Castle in East Sussex, wind swept, poor light and wet, all i can say is my aim was moody!!!

Bodiam Castle is a 14th-century moated castle near Robertsbridge in East Sussex, England. It was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of Edward III, with the permission of Richard II, ostensibly to defend the area against French invasion during the Hundred Years' War.
