Korth's Meadow - Iowa
I have taken many shots of this meadow, but each year provides a unique view . . . depending on weather, time of day and season.
On this spring day, the light was interesting depending on the cloud movement. It's one of my favorite local areas to hike and explore!

Here's a moody view of Doxey Pool/mermaid's Pool on top of the Roaches - near to where I live in the Staffordshire Morlands/South Peak District
While today dawn fiery and bright, yesterday's dawning was wreathed in fog, leading to a moody start. One had to shine a light to see through the morning mists and confusion. A bit like me before the morning coffee! For Definitely Dreaming theme 15 of Mood.
As the fog rolled in, Face Rock assumed a mysterious cast about it. Consequently, I chose to process it in BW.
Wishing each of you a marvelous week! Thanks so popping by!
Red Tarn, with Helvellyn overlooking it. Located in the lake district national park in England. An incredibly windy day, making shooting difficult.

Another unique building in the city! An eye sore to some but I quite like it.

This place is located in Galveston, Texas. The Aquarium in right next door and we did both on the same day. Knowing what I know now I would have done them on different days. Both place are huge and there are several levels. I was losing interest near the end. Lots of walking and lots to see.
There's a hotel and golf course right next door to the place. We didn't stay there. We found a hotel across from the beach. Much cheaper I might add
A shot from my recent Whitby coastal article. Taken for the stunning sky that was slowly developing overhead.

A second photo from Lake Ballard in Western Australia, featuring the "Inside Australia" outdoor art installation. There are 51 figures scattered around the lake. This time I used my longer lens to isolate one of the statues in this hypnotic vast landscape. The clouds and unusual light also helped to instil a foreboding atmosphere into the scene.
