In Canada we have beaver tails, and now we have spoo maple tails. This leaf is a result of Cooper rumpling around in the forest. It stayed stuck to his tail for quite a while. BTW, it was Coope's fourth birthday yesterday.
Wishing everyone a great day and fantastic week.
FD135mm is a very attractive lens, but there are few opportunities to use it for me. When I was able to take the shot that I liked with this lens, I am very glad.

FD135mmはとても魅力的なレンズですが、僕にはそれを使う機会が殆どありません。 このレンズで気に入ったショットを撮れたときはとてもうれしいです。

This was made for an event at my university. Comes from half a bird base and half of a frog base.
If you are Canadian, delight in this I suppose.
The Japanese maple tree in front of my house produces the most exquisitely colored leaves. It's always the last to to turn color. It drops its leaves on the bench that we've placed beneath its branches and on which we relax in spring, summer and fall. Taken on a cloudy day in Trumbull, Connecticut.

I have a lot to be thankful for.
These leaves were on our tree. Straight out of the camera, except for a crop.
Somehow, DeviantART liked this image a lot more than the Flickr crowd:

If there is one thing I can say about this image, it's that no one else seems to have done this before. Sure, I'm sure others have similar compositions, but after looking at literally thousands of Japanese Maple images, I can say that mine stands fairly alone in its composition. If one were to search, "Japanese Maple," for instance, on Flickr, 99 percent of all of the images will be of "the one." As to say, the Japanese Maple next to the koi pond in the Portland Japanese Garden.
While I would have loved to have taken that picture, as well, I must confess ignorance. I couldn't even find where to shoot from to get the same composition everyone else has. I'm not even kidding -- the most common picture from the whole Japanese garden, and I couldn't spot the composition.
Thanksgiving in Canada has just about come to an end, but I hope that most of you had a wonderful day and were able to spend it with family and friends. This red maple leaf just reminded me of the occasion. Fall has such awesome colours. As you can see, the grass was dry due to all the warm days we've had, but it made the leaf show up even more.
We had very heavy rainstorms this morning but the wind was too high to take many successful droplets . These were on magnificent Japanese Maple
