An amazingly red tree next to our house. Within days of taking this picture, it lost all of its leaves.

Went for a weekend away down south and went to the National Arboretum. It's a great time of year to go, they've got lots of Japanese Maples that are a variety of amazing colours in the autumn.

From my favourite maple tree this morning.

I like how the orange leaves provide the only real color in this scene. Everything else appears almost black and white, which is the feel of the winter just ahead.

I love these pretty trees.

There are several of these beautiful red maples at Jouken-ji (常堅寺). Just as pretty as the Fall variety!
