The Japanese maple by my house has lost most of its color and leaves, but Mother Nature gave it new little jewels to wear for the day...
Shades of maple colour and some fallen leaves while a little fir tree stays green in the park's Fairy Glen.
This is the last of my Autumn colored leaves series. My focus was on Japanese Maple (Momiji) leaves with light play in the image. Basically, I was looking for back lit situations, clean backgrounds, and bokeh. I chose the title Maple Burst for this image because of the bokeh balls on the left side of the frame. Hope you enjoyed the series!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day~!
Every leaf on this tree looked just like this - half bright red, half green. [The other two leaves just came home with me so I could identify them].
I'm heading north for a few days to see how the color is in upstate NY [and to visit family too].
My Google Pixel phone had a little trouble focusing on the flowers, because it wanted to focus on the background twigs, but let's post it, anyway, and pretend it's a planned effect.
Thanks for looking! Isn't God a great artist?
Why are there trees I never walk under but large and melodious thoughts descend upon me?

And you, how old are you?
I asked the maple tree:
While opening one hand,
- he started blushing.
