Pure, simple and revealing... blue sky, bright yellow maple leaves, using the sun to back light from under the tree.
Sometimes... simplicity is good!

As I was driving along some bizarrely convoluted route, thanks to my GPS, I ran across these glorious maples lining a New Hampshire back road.
They remind me of ancient maples that grew along an abandoned road not far from where I grew up in Plainfield. The twisted limbs were especially striking.
Developed in the FPP Unicolor C-41 kit, with post processing in Exposure X5.
