Almost 2 hours of just a lightning storm over Ozark area in Arkansas. Still mad about me that I didn't a timelapse!

Lightning strike over looking Narrawallee Beach. This photo was taken from Bannister Head Road just before the rain hit the coast on Friday afternoon.
Lightning strike in Chicago. This was from our second storm rolling through last night around 11:30pm.
All the way home from dinner we had been watching a spectacular lightning display to the South and West. I wanted to go down to the beach and watch it for a while, so did a most of the group, so Tim and I ended up herding them down to the beach to watch a truly awesome display. The only problem is I don't use my compact camera that much nowadays, so I had forgotten the best setting to capture lightning.
These pictures and Video are especially for my sister, who loves Thunder and Lightning.

Constant lightning for at least 30 minutes all around us. Local TV station reported 1,100 hits in a five minute period.
