I've tried for quite a while to shoot lightning. This one took about 600 exposures, as daylight forced me to use 1/4 sec shutter speed.
A 30 second exposure of a lightning storm in Tucson, AZ on August 15, 2007. Taken from the roof of my house looking south towards a neighbor's house on a small hill.

It is actually quite difficult to randomly catch a bolt of lightning with a point & shoot digital camera. But, alas, I do not yet have a dSLR camera which might have made it easier...
I could've set up my tripod, but that is probably not the smartest thing to do in a lightning storm. So, this slightly blurry photo is the best I could do.

Lightning McQueen did for a client's sons birthday. I used pearl mixed with red paint to give the car the sparkle look the character got in radiator springs.
just came back home from shopping when suddenly it rains. I was at the porch holding my D80 and a few series of lightning occurs. It takes nearly 20 minutes to really got tis pic... Perggghh...! Susah gilerrrr...
