From my backyard viewing across the lake, were some interesting lightning captures from the severe weather this week that caused 4 tornadoes in the area. (See Cash Tornado Pics - which is a few miles down the road from our house.)

Last evening, 20 august 2009, a stormalert was issued by the Dutch weather services. Somewhere around half past eight the first strips of lightining were decorating the sky already. Since the storm at that time wasn't on its best, I decidet to try and take some pictures. I photographed this lightining bolt at 1/30 shutterspeed and f 3.5 with my zuiko digital 14-42, 14mm.
The storm didn't really develop and subsided after an hour or so. No stormy weather, but a great picture though.
