"For last year's words belong to last year's language,

And next year's words await another voice.

........

What we call the beginning is often the end

And to make an end is to make a beginning.

The end is where we start from."

T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets

As the year comes to a close, I want to offer a heartfelt thank you and abundant gratitude to all of my Flickr friends for helping me find my voice in my first year here. Your kind and generous comments about my photos and my writing, your thoughtful feedback, your support and encouragement, and your friendship, truly mean a lot to me.

Biarritz lies on the Bay of Biscay, on the Atlantic coast, in southwestern France. Unlike any other part of France. The region has its own language, cultural landscape, architecture, and culinary traditions. The land here is breathtakingly distinctive— with the turquoise blue waters, wild coastline, and rugged foothills of the Pyrenees

Although deserted since 1953 it is famous for the abundance of literature produced by the Irish speaking inhabitants who will live on forever through the documentation by them of the extraordinary details of their ordinary lives

Language Of Love

I’m old fashioned and romantic

Like the films in black and white

all the lovers were enchanting

can you and I be old-fashioned tonight?

I wanna get lost in the music

and feel tipsy from the wine

speak of love, I won’t refuse it

I want a love like in another place and time

Dance with me

Oh, so close

and the music will speak the language of love

*Drumknott*

Just imagine me in white satin

like a 1930’s star

if we play the part, lovely things can happen

we can be old fashion being who we are

Dance with me

Oh, so close

and the music will speak the language of love

I wanna let the rhythm take us

I wanna know what it can make us feel

so let the moment hypnotize us

fantasy is a tiny step from real

Bellis symbolism:

innocence, purity, rebirth and new beginnings.

The genus name “Bellis” is the Latin word for “pretty” or “beautiful”.

The common name “Daisy” is a corruption of “Days Eye” and refers to the way that the flower closes at night and opens in the day, because at night the petals close over the yellow center and during the day they re-open.

Per Wiki...Minneopa State Park is a state park in Minnesota, United States. It was established in 1905 to preserve Minneopa Falls, the largest waterfall in southern Minnesota, and was expanded in the 1960s to include the lower reaches of Minneopa Creek and a large tract of prairie. Minneopa is Minnesota's third oldest state park, after Itasca and Interstate. Two park resources are listed on the National Register of Historic Places: the 1862 Seppman Mill and a district of seven Rustic Style structures built by the Works Progress Administration in the late 1930s. The park is located almost entirely on the south side of the Minnesota River, 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Mankato. In 2015 the state reintroduced American bison to the park in a 330-acre fenced enclosure, which visitors can drive through in their vehicles.

The creek cascades about 6 or 7 feet (2 m) over the upper falls and flows 66 feet (20 m) before dropping over the 39-foot (12 m) lower falls. The name is a shortening of Minneinneopa, which is translated from the Dakota language as "water falling twice." Other translations have been given as "water of two falls" and "water of the dancing elk." Although Minneopa Falls is often referred to as the highest waterfall in southern Minnesota, Minnemishinona Falls in a nearby Nicollet County park is slightly higher at 42 feet (13 m) but is not as scenic or well-known. Lower Minneopa Falls can be called the region's largest, as it is 25 feet (7.6 m) wide while Minnemishinona spans only 10 feet (3.0 m)

The Hidden Language of theRoses

The Rose blooms are delicious creatures ! Not just because they are fragrant. Not just because they have magical colours and forms. Not just because the moment you stare at them, you are transferred to other , better worlds. Not just because they have an aura with divine energy around them!

But also, because, the moment you are found in the middle of your blooming garden, the Roses with their blooming blooms, captivate SO much your strong attention, that you… forget to… eat when you are hungry, you forget your tasks of the day, you forget your appointments, your calls!! The only thing you want, is to go very close to them and “see” them with all your being and your senses!! To capture their Divine Beauty, because you know it is ephemeral, like all physical things…In order to have them by your side when the winter approaches, with its loooong dark, cold days, while themselves have already started hibernating until your new rendezvous in the coming Spring…

❤️You can admire here the magnificent Rose bloom of a David Austin Rose : Grace !! Her blooms’ form and apricot color harmony, are especially attractive and original!
