ENG: Hi, everybody out there. Somehow it's strange when the landmarks of a city are so empty. Only very few people have crossed my way on Monday during my little bike tour to free my head from the clinic everyday life. That is somehow eerie and surreal.
You can see the Reichstag in Berlin's Mitte district.
I thought I had missed the sunset, which was at 7:24, but at 7:30:45, a short ride north from the Bayside Marina, I caught the last bit of light under the Throgs Neck Bridge from Little Bay Park. The parking lot, from where I took this photo, was nearly full of cars. I didn't venture down to the jetty because of social distancing. Spring is a particularly bad time to have to stay indoors. One photo a day. (95/366) Bayside, Queens, NYC -- April 4, 2020
God does not occur in logistic calculations.6 Perhaps the difficulty we find today in speaking about God arises precisely from the very fact that our language is tending more and more to become pure calculation, that it is becoming more and more a mere means of passing on technical information, less and less a means for our common being to make contact in the logos, a process in which intuitively or deliberately contact is also made with the ground of all things.

ENG: The Schönhausen Palace in the Schlosspark is a baroque palace in the Berlin district of Niederschönhausen in the Pankow district of Berlin.
After his accession to the throne in 1740, Frederick the Great (1712-86) had donated the palace to his wife. During Frederick the Great's reign, the palace gained historical importance as the summer residence of Queen Elisabeth Christine of Prussia and as the official residence of Wilhelm Pieck, the first (and only) president of the former German Democratic Republic (GDR).
Schönhausen was one of 20 pleasure palaces from the extensive estate of his grandfather, built and landscaped by the court architect Johann Friedrich Eosander von Göthe between 1705 and 1708. The monarch had the modest palace extended to its present size and shape and spent the summer months in her refuge on the Panke.

This was taken with an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I uploaded it directly from the phone after processing it with Darkroom. It seems to have lost the EXIF data.
I shot this only because I needed a photo by midnight, with my iPhone in portrait mode with a flash. I don't like flash, and I don't like iPhone night mode, because everything becomes overlit and flat. There is actually no color saturation on this, I just brought the exposure, brightness, and highlights all the way down. And, yes, there is a spider, One photo a day. (147/366) -- May 26, 2020
‘I think today it's more important for us to so let God live in us that others may feel God and come to believe in God because they feel how God lives in us.’

Part of the illuminations that are being set up for "Christmas At Kew".
These are LED light tubes with a red silk like sleeve on and are lit up when the darkness descends. There are quite a few of these giant square planter boxes with the tubes pointing upwards like a bamboo plant would grow. Very striking against the blue sky.
Didn't see them lit as that display does not happen until tomorrow night.
Image info:- iPhone 11 Pro Max lying on it's back facing skywards in the middle of the box of tubes. Triggered by a Camkix remote control trigger so I am not in the shot !!
ENG: On display is the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (UKB). The sky looked so breathtaking in combination with the rain. But I still had to let my artistic vein run free in the Adobe Photo iPad software. ☻

Stitching a dozen panels with lots of different dynamic range is tricky and this panorama that stretches from south to east-southeast is a good example. If you don't look to carefully, it's a nice image.
With a dSLR, perhaps the best method is to take a manual exposure of mid-range brightness or control the exposure for the sunrise point and keep that setting for all other panels. The iPhone takes great auto exposures but Adobe merged panoramas sometimes has difficulty at the seams.
