His heavenly kingdom
"And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work,
and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom:
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."
2 Timothy 4:18
Yonder city of the great King is a place of active service. Ransomed spirits serve him day and night in his temple. They never cease to fulfil the good pleasure of their King. They always "rest," so far as ease and freedom from care is concerned; and never "rest," in the sense of indolence or inactivity. Jerusalem the golden is the place of communion with all the people of God. We shall sit with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in eternal fellowship. We shall hold high converse with the noble host of the elect, all reigning with him who by his love and his potent arm has brought them safely home. We shall not sing solos, but in chorus shall we praise our King. Heaven is a place of victory realized. Whenever, Christian, thou hast achieved a victory over thy lusts--whenever after hard struggling, thou hast laid a temptation dead at thy feet--thou hast in that hour a foretaste of the joy that awaits thee when the Lord shall shortly tread Satan under thy feet, and thou shalt find thyself more than conqueror through him who hath loved thee. Paradise is a place of security. When you enjoy the full assurance of faith, you have the pledge of that glorious security which shall be yours when you are a perfect citizen of the heavenly Jerusalem. O my sweet home, Jerusalem, thou happy harbour of my soul! Thanks, even now, to him whose love hath taught me to long for thee; but louder thanks in eternity, when I shall possess thee.
"My soul has tasted of the grapes, And now it longs to go
Where my dear Lord his vineyard keeps, And all the clusters grow.
"Upon the true and living vine, My famish'd soul would feast,
And banquet on the fruit divine, An everlasting guest." God bless

Inscription to Richard flic.kr/p/atn9Zy eldest son of Sir Thomas Cave and Eleanor St John, who died in Italy in 1606 aged 19.
"To Richard Cave the firstborn of Sir Thomas Cav and Eleanor St John, a youth of the greatest hope, reared in the liberal arts in the University of Oxford worthily awarded e degree f Bachelor by at place. Who in order to enrich his mind with skill in languages, with practical wisdom and experience, add every kind of excellent quality, traveled through France and intending to visit Italy, died an early death in Padua on July 26th 1606 at the age of 19 (having showed signs that he would be the most distinguished of his family and a jewel of his fatherland and because he scored auricular confession and extreme unction when on his deathbed he was offered them by the priests having been demanded for the flames their unreasoning arguments - he was buried in the Adriatic Gulf, his devoted and grief stricken mother bereft of such a son put up this memorial
Add your drops to the sea, pious reader, in whose bosom the body of so dear a being lies buried. His lifeless body, once a purer receptacle of faith, Rome was preparing to consign to the vindictive flames. Heaven is more just, and the Adriatic as judge, champion of his forbidden burial, hides him in its safe waters. Washed and cleansed he will at last raise his head from the waves shining among the heavenly lights and the stars""
(On his deathbed having refused last confession or extreme unction and his body was thrown into the Adriatic by his friends to save it from being burnt as a heretic)
Millions of years ago, deep in the bowels of our Earth, gemstones were created in innumerable variations. We are familiar with most of them, and indeed we have been so in most cases for thousands of years. Yet every now and again a previously unknown variant of a gem comes to light. One of these 'young' gemstones is Kunzite, with its delicate pink hues, a gem which is seen more and more often nowadays, making an attractive eye-catcher in jewellery. Yes, kunzite has only been known for a little more than a hundred years, and yet it is now going through something like a second renaissance.
In palest pink to light violet hues, it is a Stone of Emotion, opening and connecting the heart to the mind and stimulating a healing communion between the two. Kunzite encourages one to release walls built around the heart for protection, and to be receptive to the experience of unconditional and abundant love.
