My first purchase for my new loft is the long pined after Heavenly Bed at Westin/W Hotels. I looked forward to those beds during business trips and couldn't wait to have one of my own. Ahhh....now I have my own. Hopefully, I'll be able to get up in the mornings. lol
A Heavenly Records badge. Jeff Barrett sent this one with a bunch of records, posters and other ephemera after I had asked him for some old posters to help with a record sleeve design project I was doing during my second year of teaching. Jeff at Heavenly and Alan Horne at Postcard were inordinately kind in what they sent me.
That's a canopy just by the water in Acre, Israel. It has an amazing view to the Mediterranean Sea and I can only imagine how magical this place can be at night.

I miss the early morning landing when I visit my family in Guatemala, that moment when you start to feel a little nervous, your heart starts pumping a little bit faster... I love to see the sunrise right before landing, that feeling that many would do anything to someday be able to feel. I love the sunrise and the smell of coffee in Guatemala.
