Framed by the unloading dock, early Ruston & Hornsby 20DL class loco 235654 of 1946 is seen at Greenwoods Tileries of Barton Haven, Humberside in the early 1980s.
Greenwoods was one of several tileries and brickworks on the south bank of the Humber, taking clay from the shore and drying it to form bricks and tiles. They bought this loco from its original owner the Elsham Lime Co. near Brigg.
After withdrawal from service it was sold and restored for use at the Abbey Light Railway in Leeds, when this closed in 2013 it was moved to the private Richmond Light Railway in Kent.
Seaside frame using stained glass, ceramic seagull and starfish, beach glass, sea shells, stones. Photograph taken at Acadia National Park, ME
Shot at 28mm, f/1.8, 1/250s, ISO 400.
Got to visit Pan de Amerikana in Marikina last Saturday. Had fun with a few peeps from our photo club at work. Food and photo trip!
I did get to try out the Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 lens from Cae, its so nice! Focal length is wonderful on crop plus the big aperture that's oh so yummy! The experience confirmed two things for me:
1. I want primes - and I would never have problems with an all prime setup.
2. I really want a 35mm f/1.4 L lens!! Need to start saving up for this.
I got a nice portrait of the dad of the cubs and tried to put a frame around it (made with the blending options of Photoshop).
I hope you like it, I think he's a very handsome young lion!
Defective framing delivered by an Anchorage general contractor [Erik Dawson, Dawson Development]. This framing was demolished following extensive documentation. These photos are made available for framers, contractors, and clients as an educational tool.

An ongoing project of curating original art work in the public space. Members of the collective send framed works to one artist, and that artist installs the works on the streets.
I had a most enjoyable time this afternoon, rolling about my neighbour's field, taking photos of her beautiful horse Sly, and his friend Scruffy. This is Sly, framing himself with his legs.
I don't normally say it on Flickr, but this image really is better viewed large. There's some lovely detail, including his pretty eyelashes. I don't think Flickr displays portrait images very well.
The stunning west window in the chapel of All Souls College, Oxford, which is by Hardman and shows the Last Judgement is framed by the Baroque choir screen erected in 1664 and remodelled by Thornhill in 1716.
I booked today on leave, but the thing that I was planning to do had been cancelled. So with some time on my hands, I thought that I would make a start on painting the ground frame. The red and yellow levers get their first coat of paint, and the chassis is liberally coated with black Hammerite. It is amazing the transformation that this has made. I just need to find the brown paint now.
Finally got out again, took several images of the skyline and wanted to refresh my memory on HDR. This is from the Long Center. A 5 shot HDR.

Garston Freightliner Frame signal box located at the entrance to Garston freightliner terminal in south Liverpool. Saturday 13th February 1988
Garston Freightliner Frame signal box was a British Railway London Midland Region type 15 design which opened as a non block post on 27th April 1969 fitted with a 10 lever London Midland Region Standard frame. The lever frame was taken out of use on 13th June 1993 and signal box was thereafter only used to house a telephone from/to Garston Junction signal box. The signal box was demolished in February 1997, the lever frame being moved to the Stevington & Turvey Light Railway in Bedfordshire

This is one frame of a 300 frame "turntable" animation which I'm doing in Blender. It's rendering in the background :)
Another artwork. Hand carved, modern rustic purple table. Special made for glass top, which customer will choose by herself, as was discussed.Depends from her own wishes.
So, this is a table, made, based on the special made unique sketch. Table top frame, waived legs.
New pine wood, hand carved in rustic style. Painted by natural handmade paint, wood finish - based on the natural beeswax.
This table has leather pads on the legs, for safe using on the floor. Really, one of a kind, beautiful modern table, with rustic character in it.
I create different one of a kind furniture, design and decor. Check out my website and Houzz page!

First sketch of a drawing I started a week ago. I have a day job so it took two weekends to,from mishap it. More pictures will follow showing how it progressed.
From the road, you'd think it doesn't look like a big arch, not very big at all. You'd have to climb up there to find out how wrong that was, and the scale of small things in this wide open countryside.

November 23rd, 2012 - Thanksgiving in Moab, six days and five nights of redrock exploration.
Last day, time to go home :(
Looking inside the 2nd floor of the abandoned tuna plant from the 3rd floor roof. Graffiti is covering nearly every available square inch of this building, it's great.
Thanks to rustyjaw for the Photomatix tips & inspiring me to try my hand at HDR again. Check out his stream, he has some incredible shots!
