A Mogens Lassen sketch from 1943 forms the starting point for Frame,

The lower leg armor only needed a little rework to fit the new frame while the upper leg needed more. From the outside of the armor the back of the knee is the only visible change, couldn't cover that one up.
I made the leap to a full frame DSLR tonight. With the shoots I've been doing I've wanted to have a new main camera and the Nikon D800 was on my list for quite a while if/when I ever made the leap. Now the D810 has replaced the old D800 & Precision Camera had it on sale. This paired with the Tamron 70-200 2.8 and those low light challenging venues I've been should no longer be the challenge they were. Looking forward to getting out and putting this pair through their paces. So who wants their portraits shot? Wildflower season is right around the corner and I'm itching to get behind the lens.

We went for a lovely walk this afternoon (it was snowing but not too cold so really refreshing). Lots of kids bombing down the "ski slope" down the road from us. We also did a circular walk at Charterhouse School (beautiful grounds), where I took a few photos. I could not quite decide which one to upload today. Went for this because it's a bit different. I took the picture from behind what I think is the hockey scoreboard ;-)
