New Hampshire timber frame great room features a large stone fireplace, a common addition to many timber frame homes.
As seen from Mitchell Island in the north arm of the Fraser River. My friend John Dorsey has a very similar photo taken last summer.
Bought a book on Special Effects with Photoshop while in the US this spring. Have been perusing throught it and just got around to trying a few of them. This is the first that interested me, a 3-D gold frame for an image. In the book they had around a Portrait and really looked nice. Neat eh ??...LAW

Akaroa, day three on our way back to Chirstchurch after our two night stay in Akaroa to get away from the repair/paint on our house. May 24, 2012.
Meryon etched several plates based directly on the drawings he had done in the Pacific. He had studied under the French printmaker Eugène Bléry (1805–1887) whose use of dramatic chiaroscuro (light and dark) effects in his landscapes was a major influence on Meryon’s earlier work. His Pacific subjects tended to be more picturesque.
Born in Paris, Meryon trained as a naval cadet and Le Rhin had been posted to protect French interests at Akaroa. Meryon had studied watercolour painting and made many sketches, which he later developed into etchings. On his return to France, he decided to become a painter, however he suffered from colour blindness, which may have lead him to turn to printmaking.

Oracle - mixed media, 14.5 " X 41 ". I have done a series of work using old posters and fruit crate labels. This piece is an old french game board. I have a love of the old chromolithographic printing style. I embellish each piece with swarovski crystals and hand drawing. This piece is framed in a "tramp art" frame from the same era, circa 1910. I am still working on this piece and it will be completed by the hanging date for the show. I have a show of the fruit crate labels and posters at the Butcher and The Baker through February. Jag gjorde ett samarbete med fotografen Lena källberg där hon fotade en rulle film genom en halfframe kamera för att sedan dubbelexponerade jag rullen med en fullframe kamera.
Diafilmen blev sedan crossframkallad och här är resultatet alla 37 frames som kommit oediterade direkt från scannern.
I did a cooperation with the photographer Lena källberg where she shoot a roll of film by using a half-frame camera, then i used a full-frame camera and double exposed the roll.
The positive film was then crossprocessed and here is the resulting 37 frames that was is unedited coming straight out the scanner!
