What happens when you hit the Noctilux at full aperture with a Nikon flash - Leica M8 photo

As succeed using SB-900 speed light last night, i am still excited in using it through the night out tonight. The speed light was keep flashing my balcony just now. There are another reason why I captured myself today. I found there was a good foundation from Biotherm!! It was a small pack as gift when I purchased other products from Biotherm Homme. The color fits me so much!! You could tell from my face!

NOTE: I didn't do anything on the file by PHOTOSHOP or other software!

Played around with my new Yongnuo flash and the triggertrap flash adapter.

Finally got a decent enough picture of lightning after a very active storm rolled through Tuesday evening. It was quite a light show! I figured out how to use the clone and heal tool in Photoshop to remove the blurred out city lights.

Did a quick flash diffusion test with my Tamron 90 lens at 1:1 of a test subject using my normal coke can diffuser on a bracket mounted 430Ex vs using a diffused Opteka 600 twin macro flash ( shot here www.flickr.com/photos/lordv/5577399335/ ). Far prefer the light from the single diffused flash with it's much larger ddiffuser head.

From the barrel of my Sig Sauer.

A friend fired my gun while I took the shot on tripod, a 3 second exposure, just long enough to capture the flash.

On a bright sunny day I went outside with my 100mm macro lens and flash on the camera.

This budding shallot flower looked interesting.. I set the camera up on manual, dialed up the aperture (smallest opening) and set the flash to 1/16 power and started taking some snaps on full manual..

I think this one ended up being about 1/4 power on the flash. The small aperture and reasonably fast shutter speed meant that the daylight was not bright enough to light the subject.. the light came from the flash.. just not too strong..

The resulting image looks as though the light is coming from within... and so it is with growing things..

I hope u all have a great w/e... we are off to the beach... :)

My first flash! Year! I Love it! :-) A little bit edit by Flickr filter!

Flash Flooding occurred in Piedmont, South Dakota from a slow-moving supercell thunderstorm on June 1, 2015.

I shot this for the farm and decided to post it. This is a solar flash hybrid more popularly known as the Teddy Bear Sunflower. Very much in demand as a cut flower. The bloom is very soft and cushy and ranges in color from a bright yellow to a yellow orange. Thanks for the look and have a great Day.

Flash is available for adoption in Northern Virginia, USA, through HART .

Flash and Tigger were adopted from HART as a tiny kittens. They are about 7 years old now. Their humans got divorced and left them behind. Flash is a sweet, gentle soul who is a bit shy about all of these big changes in her life.

Trying them out. My feet are ugly.

Nuit Blanche in Toronto

With faded, flat paintwork and a big old dent in the side this ZX didn't look particularly flash. Still loads of these about, ditto the 306, it was only the condition of this one that made me photograph it.

Metal of an electricity substation in Kärnten, hit by a flash. The meatl of the wires melted and was scattered over a wide area.
