I have had this quilt finished without the binding for almost 2 years now. I put the final stitches in it last night, and pulled it out of the dryer this afternoon. Whew!

I finally got my Ice Rune yesterday, she's really pretty! Her stock is really great too, I'm glad I got her! :D I just took a few pics today, but they didn't turn out well as it was already getting dark. More at the weekend.. :D

What a job it was painting the shop. But the dark purple that was on the walls when I bought the shop is now gone! It's amazing how well the shop photographs now. When it was the dark purple I could not get a decent shot.

After "peaking" on the flavor trip, we treated our tongues with sweet wine as the taste bud hallucinations slipped away.

"9-1-1? Yeh, I'm having a bad flavor trip - I need someone to talk my tongue down. My taste buds thought they could fly and jumped off the roof of my mouth, and..."

Chelsea is finally accepting food in her mouth and not spitting it out immediately. Yay!

... finally we got some cold winter weather in Copenhagen. 7°C and rain drives me crazy.

I swear this is the only time I've ever seen him lie down without being completely passed out asleep.

Jesper has been looking for a drumming monkey a long time. He finally bought it for Rs 100 at the Pettah market.

We're finally at home and everyone is doing well. Little Yv and Kate are getting along just fine. ;)

This was the first time i've tried photographing fireworks. So... i did some expirementing. And yes, no tripod. gosh! . . . lol.

Finally, we arrived at Mdina, the true purpose of the tour!

Mdina, "the Silent City" or "the Quiet City," was the ancient capital of Malta. Now it's sort of the Martha's Vineyard of Malta as well as a UN Heritage Site or something.

It is exceedingly beautiful in its austere way, and it was exceedingly hot walking about. Not everyone in our group could handle it.
