A sunny day, fresh paint, and no regrets.

So it would appear that all of those April showers (and snow and ice storms) did indeed bring May flowers :) Spring has finally sprung here in the Great White North!

I did it.

I finally got baptized!

This morning started out at Ariel's house, then applications, and government homework. Then I rested and went to the evening service at church.

It was made available to get baptized, and I did. I went for it and I am so glad I did. I was not expecting to do this today so... I was baptized in my jeans and went home all wet. It was great.

November 29, 2009.

A while back, BNSF started originating the transfer to Norfolk Southern's Avondale Yard at Argentine Yard. I was hoping to have caught this train multiple times by now. On this day, I finally caught it for the first time. GP39-2 #2784 and GP39-2 #2792 are the power on this Argentine - Avondale transfer (57 cars) at Santa Fe Junction in Kansas City, MO. I did find out a little later that this train normally makes this run at night. Glad it was off schedule on this day for whatever reason.

Hannah's top front teeth have been a little wiggly since last fall but have really gotten loose the past few weeks. This morning, while getting ready for school, she comes running out of the bathroom shouting, "Mom! Mom! My tooth came out while I was brushing my teeth!!!"

And this year it is the earliest I can remember. My brother in the cristal clear water of lake Starnberg, Germany, taken on april 14th.

After four months, I can take wide angle shots again!

Retiring for the day at Agora, the local friendly population was also returning back home from their fields.

In our drive through The Land Between The Lakes we kept seeing deer off in the distance (except for the 10 foot flash in front of me) and while we were leaving we saw the youngsters grazing by the Welcome station. So we stopped, watched and shot em'..... with a camera of course. Info 1/100 f4.5 ISO 800 150mm

At CERN for Tribecahacks StoryMatter Hackathon.

Jim and I took a different route home from the beach to avoid I-10 Interstate. When we turned onto the Ashville Highway in Monticello, we were in in familiar territory. The last town before home is always Quitman and then the Troupeville Highway. Last stop is home. Yay!

Zelda's in downtown Sacramento. Great food, not-so-friendly service. It's a tradition for us now each time we come to Sac Town.
