I don't know how many years I have been waiting for a shot of a Robin in 'proper' snow. Last night we had almost a whole inch of the white stuff (which for the Purbeck is a blizzard) and for a bonus, today was a good walking day.
I got my two LaCie mobile hard drives today!!!!! one is a 320GB for personal use and the other is 500GB for school, and they have such a cute design too! I also used my new Vivitar wireless remote to take the photo.
Yay for new gear!
It has been weeks since I had seen water it seems. The streams, waterfalls, and even the lakes had been completely frozen. A couple warmer days started to thaw things out faster than I expected.

I think I am now happy with the treble cluster in the round...I have lost count of the number of attempts I have made at this.
Luckily I remembered to write it down this time! :)
Crochet experts - what do you think?
We got the letter the other day, but I didn't want to post it until I was able to talk to the place building it to confirm they too had recieved this letter. So now, she has an appointment on Thursday @ 10 AM (ugh cause it's 2 hours away to boot) for her to get measured for this. Her PT seems to think it will take about a month from then measurement to get the RGO in and then she'll have to be fitted and the brace ajusted (all done in one day). Then we'll be able to take it home, and her PT will put her in it, give her a set of wheels (walker) and get her started!!!!!! I can't wait until my Flikcr feed is full of her walking!! :D
Finally finished my last pear ornament! The green tops are four-paneled and the silver tops are five-paneled. Can you tell? Thanks again for the pattern, Losabia!
I cast to this fish for nearly an hour. He would nibble the fly then spit it out before I could set the hook, this happened four or five times and I would have to change the fly after each bite because he would refuse it the next time, but on the fifth or sixth time I got a solid hook set and he lead me on a forty yard run down stream, then up, then back down again before I finally was able to land him. smart and tough fish.
Okay, I don't know why, but it took me so freakin' long to get a stupid sun ray. Like I know, you just point the camera towards the sun, but I don't know if it's the portrait lens or something but it was just tough.
After way too many bureaucratic delays, the new One World Trade Center is now more than 600 feet above street level.

Finally Benjamin is at that age where he can walk on his own and we don’t need to take the pram every ware we go so we all decided to take the dogs for a walk at Point Peron. It was a gorgeous day and Benjamin loved running around with the dogs and it was great to get out as a whole family and get out in the fresh air of the great outdoors.
There were a lot of fur trees on the route to the Kingdom.
