This area of the Catskill Game Farm appeared to have been dedicated to interactive exhibits and rides ... gotta keep the kids amused and engaged.

Old barns like this will never be replaced, So enjoy the views while you can.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8

Beauty in distress

While we're living, the dreams we have as children fade away

While we're living, the dreams we have as children fade away

While we're living, the dreams we have as children fade away

While we're living, the dreams we have as children fade away

Away, away, they fade away, away, away

They fade away, away, away, fade away, away, away.

Faded

I was here once

But now I'm one of the forgotten ones

I faded away slowly

Imperceptibly

excerpt from the poem "Faded" by Richard Lamoureux

fading away like the rest of them

A mural on the side of the former El Meson Restaurant. It's not The Feast at the House of Levi; but it was a fun idea with images of favourite patrons and the waiting staff.

Time has certainly taken its toll on this old Ford truck, found in rural north-east Georgia.

This faded flower, even in the depths of a Black Hills' January, still retains beauty.

Played by the gate at the foot of the garden

My view stretches out from the fence to the wall

No words could explain,

no actions determine

Just watching the trees and the leaves as they fall.

Photographed while exploring with Alice-san, Kageyama-san, Lonny, Mamoru-san, and Yoshikatsu-san. Kagurazka, Shinjuku, Tokyo. November 4, 2019.

The irritatingly beautiful Andy and I teamed up again to pimp one of his already fantastic photos from an earlier shoot.

Both of us are in love with this shot by G*Squared, so this is an homage to that.

This covers 10.05.09 - 16.05.09 of my 52 weeks project, and a big thank you to all the wonderful people who've joined so far!

Happy Fence Friday to All!

I used to see civilian JetStars flying out of Palwaukee Airport as a kid, always thought they looked cool as hell. Even wearing sun-faded wraparound camo, they still look good.

This panorama was merged from 3 single shots taken from the tripod with the Apo-Vario-Elmarit 90-280mm at 225 focal length. All the mountains at the background are belonging to Ammergauer Alpen. I masked the sky in Lightroom after merging in order to be able to edit both sky and the mountains separately to optimize colours and contrast.

I was really pleased by the glow that was still shining at the mountain tops.
