ODC - PRINTS is the topic for Thursday 13th December 2012
This is as far as you should go on a LCW fader ND filter. rotating past the arrow toward the MAX will give you the cross effect.
This once faded sign has been restored to its former luster and advertises Peter Pan Bread and quality meats at Holst's Market. It is located in the East Village of Davenport, Iowa.
This work belongs to the shot series I did for "Let Down", I've realized that the central image could be a work by itself. Again I was listening Radiohead and I felt involved to make a piece following my state of mind, as always of course... this work is so meaningful to me according to the song, so if you have the possibility I suggest you to look at this one listening Radiohead' Street Spirit.
I also suggest you a full view... thank you for the patience, really... any comment will be welcome
Radiohead - Street Spirit (Fade Out)
Rows of houses, all bearing down on me
I can feel their blue hands touching me
All these things into position
All these things we'll one day swallow whole
And fade out again and fade out
This machine will, will not communicate
These thoughts and the strain I am under
Be a world child, form a circle
Before we all go under
And fade out again and fade out again
Cracked eggs, dead birds
Scream as they fight for life
I can feel death, can see its beady eyes
All these things into position
All these things we'll one day swallow whole
And fade out again and fade out again
Immerse your soul in love
Immerse your soul in love

My current series is an interpretation of the intimate experiences of those living with severe anxiety. More often than not, the inspiration for each piece serves as a reflection of intense moments when ones is struggling for control, battling overwhelming self-consciousness, and the inability to escape their own feelings.
All of the work depicted is derived first from conversation and collaboration with friends and strangers, each person describing how it feels for them to experience full fledged anxiety and panic attacks. Many have said that these events come on quickly, and sometimes without warning. For others, being anxious is a constant in their lives. From suddenly being unable to focus or to the air feeling thick and making it hard to breathe, these pieces serve as a unique record of something that is often hard to talk about. Their descriptions directly affect my aesthetic choices.
As an artist I have found that I enjoy collaborating regularly with people talking about the aspects of life that many keep private out of fear, shame, embarrassment. Themes I have worked with range from body image, body dimorphic disorder, abuse, to aspects of mental health. It’s important for me, in small ways, to encourage conversation in hopes that it will start to end the stigmas against many of these issues.
New arrival: Faded Desert Kyori
(I bought only her head, her body she got from another Integrity doll)
I have no idea what has done it, but my beautiful Sirenetta who was once painted in purple and blue has faded to a light yellowish gold. I won't change anything about her, but I am befuddled by her transformation.
A once in a lifetime opportunity happened for me this day... I was called and informed that a small group of Flickr members were being allowed into Tiger Stadium. 8 years after the ballpark had closed, these pictures are the result of what the park looks like in its current condition.

The kids from drama got us a bunch of flowers each as a thank you for Bugsy Malone, which was sweet of them.
They're just about fading now.
