Original block has been re-built with mild cam and 625cfm four barrel Carter carburettor on top of Chrysler 4 barrel manifold. Efficient on long trips, but secondaries ready to howl when needed!

FJR710 was the prototype turbofan engine designed and built in Japan. This FJR710/600S type was used for "Asuka" STOL research plane. FJR710 didn't enter mass production, but led to international collaboration of V2500.

You'd be forgiven for mistaking this Oshkosh Fire Engine Ladder Truck for a Matchbox. It looks pretty identical to the original and even wears Matchbox style wheels but its actually made by Maisto. A great deal of their earlier stuff were nothing more than MBX copies and not bad copies either sharing the same quality and finish but invariably a little bit cheaper.
The vehicle itself looks beautiful odd ball with its huge front overhangs and pseudo space age styling, it reminds me a little of the old Nissan Diesel equivalent.
This is an earlier incarnation of this model with its different wheels, true to form Maisto still produce this casting though sadly it looks noticeably cheaper with an horrendous looking lowered ride height! Part of a Wal-Mart exclusive Road & Track branded twin set bought recently from my local Bargain World. Mint and boxed.

This shot looks pretty good when viewed large. I don't think there's any plastic on this whole engine...what doesn't have any plastic anymore, hard to think of anything that doesn't.
a two stroke engine from an old commer truck. you can see just to the side of the supercharger that is on the front of the engine the drive shaft of the cooling fan that was prone to failure because as it looks it is a bit flimsy and weak
This postcard is made by Colourmaster International, printed in England and is from their Collector Series. It is printed by photo precision limited, St. Ives, Huntingdon, and has a card code number of BSL25.
This is one of three Postcards I have of English private railways steam engines. I'm not up with postcards and the coding or numbering systems, but from info I have read on the net, Colourmaster International has gone out of business.
