We got breakfast at Bouchon Bakery again on Wednesday morning, the last day of our anniversary trip. This was probably my favorite thing that we got. It was a chantilly eclair, with vanilla custard inside and whipped cream (chantilly) on top. Steve and I both preferred it over the chocolate eclair we got the day before.
And with that, all pictures from the anniversary trip to Napa are uploaded. If you want to see them all in order, I suggest looking through the photo set.
Hard to get a picture of her because she is always up under me. :o)
She has a funny sworl of white there on her forehead... and she will have a white beard! One of her hooves is white tipped as well.
Look at the wave of her coat over her ribs... <3
Not sure what to think of her so far. I think she is wide bodied and long... both good things.
Yesterday, we treated ourselves to some fancy-smancy, expensive eclairs from Chez Claire. We got bitter dark chocolate, raspberry and pistache. The pistache flavoured one was by far the best.
They're 4,50€ a piece which is pretty pricey for an eclair. So these eclairs are best for special occasions IMO.
