Project was made for Kiev confectionery, which specialized in Eclair and not only.
From the ABC Cake Master class. The challenge here was really to get the perfect choux pastry base for the filling to be inserted and the decorations piped above.
From left to right: Chocolate; lemon, blackberry (cassis) with freeze-dried raspberries and rose petals on top, matcha and pistachio; chocolate with a chocolate sheet on top. Fiddly work.
We got breakfast at Bouchon Bakery again on Wednesday morning, the last day of our anniversary trip. This was probably my favorite thing that we got. It was a chantilly eclair, with vanilla custard inside and whipped cream (chantilly) on top. Steve and I both preferred it over the chocolate eclair we got the day before.
And with that, all pictures from the anniversary trip to Napa are uploaded. If you want to see them all in order, I suggest looking through the photo set.
