I just thought this looked cool- the two dump trucks approaching each other. The third one was just for fun, I guess.
Given the depth of field, these really need to be seen at bigger than screen size, but this will have to do for now.

Caught an RJ Corman ballast train working on the Belt Line near the old Southern Ice icehouse.
Talk about one red train! Those ballast dump cars sure stand out in their bright red RJC livery.
By the time they got up close to my spot, the cars were just about empty; but it was still cool to see the dump cars in action.
Here is some construction and demolition debris dumped on the side of the road.

As I said before, I ran out of sand. When I got it before, I got the sand, I picked it up using my fathers dump trailer. As it turns out, the sand was to heavy and I ended up having to unload most of it by hand.
I really did not want to do that again. To be honest, I am getting tired and cold:) and I have a torn shoulder that is awaiting a second surgery.
So, anyway, I convinced my wife to separate with the extra bit of money so we could pay to have the company deliver it. It was absolutely worth it to me!!! Thank you so much HAT CREEK CONSTRUCTION. They gave me a great deal and have always been kind!
As a bonus I got to see some machinery at work. I love big machines!

Subject : Metal grill dumped in Old Well - corner Philip Lane N15 & High Road, Tottenham.
Please see my two photos taken on Saturday 12 May 2012 and posted on Flickr. They show a metal grill which has been dumped in the Old Well at the corner of Philip Lane and High Road, Tottenham.
I couldn't spot where the grill had been taken from.
Can you please pass this to the staff responsible for looking after the Old Well. Thanks.

millions of salmon left to rot, antibiotics, feed pellets, and industrial garbage left adrift, parasites and viruses dumped on wild fish, farmed fish dumped on our watersheds and coastal ecosystems,

Infinite abundance is an illusion that remains central to expectations of choice in today's consumer culture. The market forces that wish to keep us shopping perpetuate this illusion but it is also an illusion in which we ascribe to, aiding in its perception. Cleanliness and beauty have been foregrounded as contemporary necessities and help to maintain the illusion of abundance. Modern society relies upon a contrived outlook of the world in which we constantly try to impose aesthetic order in every aspect of our lives. This requires us to throw things out so as to achieve such a sense of order, as Mary Douglas writes in Purity and Danger,
“Where there is dirt there is system. Dirt is the by-product of a systematic ordering and classification of matter, in so far as ordering involves rejecting inappropriate elements.'

Shackleton’s Hut was erected at Cape Royds, 19 miles from McMurdo, in early 1908. The British Antarctic Expedition (aka Nimrod Expedition) 1907-1909, was Ernest Shackleton’s second attempt at the South Pole. After trudging for weeks through snow, frostbitten, riddled with dysentery, losing ponies to crevasses, and low on food, Shackleton and his men had to turn away at 88°S (97 miles from the Pole). The expedition did, however, claim to be first at the South Magnetic Pole and first ascent of Mount Erebus. Shackleton was knighted upon his return to the UK.

Short alleyway linking Carew Road and Dowsett Road, Tottenham. On 21 August 2014 there were three separate piles of remarkably manky rubbish.
One next to the bright yellow "No Dumping" sign and another two at either end of the alley.
Oh, yes. And there was also an improvised litter "bin" in a hole in one of the fences.
