His mother was trying to teach him to say "dump truck" but he dropped the "p" and couldn't quite manage the "tr" so you can imagine what it sounded like. He finally got tired of her making him repeat it and said, "Mommy, you're a dum *uck."
Bristol, Vermont USA • The Town Dump burst into fire yesterday, and when the brush & stump portion led its way to the monumental tire pile. I became aware as I crested a hill here in Cornwall, and saw this amazing dance of black and white smoke towers in the distance. • I now know the fire was 15 air miles away, but I first thought some industrial operation was afire in Middlebury (c. four miles ahead). • Early reports suggest it was likely accidental, started by someone trashing their not yet cold, wood stove or fireplace ashes). • Lot of toxic smoke; lot of stink. I heard that nearby residents were evacuated. This event is still happening.
Let this be a warning, neighbors !
Given the depth of field, these really need to be seen at bigger than screen size, but this will have to do for now.

Here are my images of a school bus accident on HWY 22 near Falmouth, KY in Pendleton County Kentucky. There was a dump truck which struck the school bus on a curve. One fatality was reported, a 16 year old boy. Reports state it was the outstanding driving of a veteran school bus driver which prevented a more horrific accident due to the extreme hills and drop-offs near the accident site. These images are the first and it was a privilege to work with the Falmouth Outlook on this story. Other than this released information by authorities, I am not at liberty to disclose any other information I may know due to my close working relationship with the Falmouth Outlook and local authorities.
