36 dreads and counting-- still have the crown of my head to do.. man are my arms sore! kinda messy cuz i haven't twisted 'em today, eh.

Another shot of the back and top of my head, post-maintenance. I notice the HUGE difference. Do you?
All I can say is that one week in and I'm totally digging my new hair. Itchy scalp issues aside, I am more convinced with each passing day that this is the path for me. I look forward to the next week of my journey. I hope you'll join me.
So, since I don't have the cord to connect my camera to my computer, shitty macbook pictures will have to do for now :)
not looking so good. I'm afraid my hair is not responding well to being dreaded. There are loopies all over. I expected wild stages and friz + fuzzies, but is this normal? I was close to deep conditioning this morning to comb them out... I'd love advice from anyone with experience!

And one more. They're all wrapped together and pinned weird to cover the bun of my own hair.. there wasn't enough to leave them loose.
I'm making dreads for a pirate costume to see POTC2. Detail: Red Heart + fun fur + strand of gold embroidery floss.
Not sure why it looks like I have white stuff in my hair. It's not in other pics and there's nothing there in person.
