From September 15th to 19th the second of the four JCOM Masterclasses, educational programmes aimed at an international audience and held by international experts takes place. For the 20 selected participants this interactive course represents a unique opportunity to discuss the state-of-the-art of science exhibition development with particular focus on the possible different design approaches, helping participants to reflect on the relationship between the different media, contents and visitors' experience.

The Westland Lysander was developed for rugged, short-take-off-and-landing (STOL), and used for low-level reconnaissance and observation. The first prototype aircraft flew in 1936, and during World War II Lysanders were used by Coastal Command on search-and-rescue, and also for dangerous missions picking up and dropping secret agents behind enemy lines.
The aircraft is powered by a 870hp Bristol Mercury XX 9 cylinder radial engine, giving a maximum speed of 220 knots. The armament consists of two machine guns mounted in undercarriage fairings.

The ORIGINAL box shows some signs of wear.
The Developing Tank is from Leningrad, Russian / USSR. It has a certificate.
It dates 18 VIII 1964. (That's 18th of August 1964)
The rubber pipes are in really good condition and not porous or brittle at all.
Quite amazing for this age. The Tank itself is almost scratch free, shining
and just looks fantastic. I do not know how to use it. And I am only selling
as I have course fees to pay, so it is a reluctant sale of an object I adore.

Pictured here is an item belonging to the collection of art of the Ancient Maya exibited by the Museo de Antropologia, perhaps, the best museum in the world dedicated to Pre-Columbian art. The diversity, the quantity - and the quality! - of its exhibits is truly astonishing, even though I have seen quite a few of such museums in my life.

Still in the same place. I had to escape to our car to get fresh batteries for my camera. When I got inside, the car was surrounded by kids. This kid happened to look straight into my camera when I was shooting.
